Hi everyone just checking in to say Happy New Year to all! Hoping this year allows me to be healthier. Trying to drop some pounds before Dec. got a good start now that those Holiday goodies are gone. Anyone else making changes in their eating styles?

I am, I have 20 lbs of baby weight to lose.. Yet I have no babies... Lol.... I am going high protein with resistance training.

I am restarting weight watchers, and doing Jillian Michaels routines mixed in with running.

Its january and I always start a diet. But this time I mean it for 2 very good reasons, #1 my son's wedding in September...#2 the Cruise!!....so I'm getting serious. I have had a cold that started saturday and my appetite has been way down, so I already lost 3 lbs:thumbsup2 good start at least.

I am slowly losing with Weight Watchers. Last year I let go of 15 lbs. Planning on releasing more again this year. I decided I would stay on program until I make lifetime--no matter how long it takes :)

I lost 20 lbs last year, and then plateaued. I gained much of it back. I'd like to be at a happy weight so if I fluctuate a few lbs from holidays or vacation here and there it doesn't destroy me. A long way to go, but I think I can do it.
 
We are back on weight watchers too. I need to drop 15+ pounds that I put on last year. I lost a lot of weight in 2011 due to health issues and last year I got my taste buds back, so you know what happened. I ate everything in sight. I would love to get back to the weight I had lost, but this time on my own terms and not meds.

Tracking seems to really help me. I like the WW app on my phone so I can keep track just about anywhere--except on a cruise ;) I bought a set of "thinware" to help with portion control. Amazing how the size of a deck of cards, tennis ball, etc. seem to grow as the weeks progress!!

I've lost about 20 pounds via changing my eating habits, starting a gym membership, and hiring a trainer. I feel better than I have in a long time and have a lot more strength!
 
Sulley and I both need to lose weight....Since turning 50 things went to pot...well actually, I guess since we quit smoking in 2006. then some mobility issues for both of us, and you know the end of that tale of woe! :(

But we will have to start slow. I have a bad knee and bad hip, so walking is the order of the day...if I can ever get my other half at work to show up....otherwise it's dark when I get home.
 
WEll, we got our final proposal back on the bathroom, I went over on the cabinetry by $100 and on the tile by $1,000, BUT! Some changes we made actually brought the labor down and my 10% Angie's List coupon brought the total down even more!!!!:thumbsup2

So now we are UNDER BUDGET and unless there is a horror story under the floor....Yippy Skippy!!!! This will keep me occupied for the next month..now what do I do with the rest of the year before the cruise? :confused3
