2012 Epcot Food and Wine Festival *HAS ENDED*

Tommie, I was thinking of you when I posted that about the Unibroue. Maybe someone will get there before Saturday evening. maybe someone is there today...

I've never known AJ to take bad photos. The food shown is just pretty much not very colorful. Some of it looks good though. I have sworn off the filet. Too much hype, if I want beef I'll get it from Argentina or South Africa. The lines are going to keep me from my spicy chicken sausage though.

wasn't trying to bad mouth the photographer at disney food blogs. i am just hoping the food is more appealing in person than the pictures portray, so i wasn't sure if it's the food that doesn't photograph well or if it was the photographer.

It may have been mentioned in the 100+ pages, but forgive me for not going through all of them.

What are the hours for the food booths? I know 11am is opening, but when do they close?

We spent the afternoon here, arriving just around noon from DHS. I didn't find the lines that oppressive. Ireland was typically long, but I don't think I waited for more than a few minutes. My wife went to Canada and Greece. She felt the line at Canada was too long, so she got what she wanted from Greece. We come back next week after getting off of the Fantasy, so we'll try different kiosks then.

I have noticed the portions seem bigger and I've been told it's like that in the beginning. I don't eat a lot and the Fishermans stew was really filling.

There are 3 Unibroues on tap at the cart during the festival: Emphemere, Blonde de Chambly and Trois Pistoles. Don't know which Emphemere but probably the Apple.

The little tapas plates are so cute! :thumbsup2

I'm so getting us the wristlets. This may seem like a silly question but can they be used all over WDW? I'd love to get these for the kids and reload $25 at a time to keep it from feeling like they're nickel and diming me to death.

And I eat pretty small portions, I'm afraid I'm not going to get to try everything I want to.

The wrist cards are the same as regular Disney gift cards.

Thanks, looks like the same three as last year.

I just read something on the Disney blog about Ghirardelli drinking chocolate!?? OMG that sounds ah-mazing!

Where is this located? In the Festival Welcome Center? Is it free?

I don't see this on the map with the menus, but there is a Godiva Chocolate Liqueur Iced Coffee at the Belgium marketplace near the France showcase.

I think this is what you're looking for, it's at the festival welcome center which is in the old Wonders of Life Pavilion:

Chocolate Experience: From the Bean to the Bar Hosted by Ghirardelli® Chocolate Company – NEW: Immerse yourself in the seductive sights, scents and flavors of chocolate at this new experience! Marvel at sweet sculptures created by Disney pastry chefs and learn about the food's fascinating origins. Sample a few sweet treats and shop for gourmet chocolate gifts. Be sure to try Drinking Chocolate (it's like a liquid candy bar!) or a glass of wine. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. through park close

Hi everyone, Deb from AllEars tweeted this morning that in addition to the Chase Visa lounge in the Festival Center, there would also be preferred viewing locations for Chase Visa cardholders at Eat to the Beat concerts and for Illuminations. If anyone comes across any details on the preferred viewing for the concerts, I'd love to hear it!
