Know how you feel, I booked with DU also, and we're sailing out of Seattle for Alaska in a little over a month!
I see what looks like the top of a water bottle, but are those other two cups reusable hot/cold cups that could hold coffee? That would be excellent!
And I see a deck of cards... but what the the little multi-colored balls in front of them in the bottom right?
Can anyone tell me what is in the basket????
Wow, thats really nice of you guys! The gift basket looks wonderful! I am wondering if my group qualifies. I booked my Fantasy ressies online via disneycruise.com then transferred our cabins over to you guys. Do we qualify for the gift basket?
Thanks so much!
Mary
I'm so jealous! We booked through DU but are sailing out of LA in September.
WOO HOO!! This gives me another reason to be excited for our upcoming September cruise. Can't think of a better duo than DU and The Perfect Gift....the only thing better is a trio....DU, Perfect Gift and DCL!
Thanks to all - especially our awesome DU TA - Beth!

I'm reluctant to give you a "list" of what's in the bag simply because each will be customized to the people traveling in the room. For example those traveling with kids will get different items them adults traveling without kids, etc.
We discuss the gift bags on this weeks DISUnplugged Podcast -podcast.wdwinfo.com - if you don't want to listen to the whole show you can just listent to the 'News, Housekeeping. Rapid-Fire' segment as that's where Pete talks about the bags.
I can tell you that we really took some time and used our knowledge of Disney Cruise Line as well as feedback we've recieved from our clients over the years to pack it with what feel are fun as well as useful items...things you wish you had but didn't pack.
Some guesses I've seen here already are correct....re-useable drink mugs (hot and cold for adults, cold for kids), different colored highlighters so you can easily identify each family members activities in the navigator, a multi-plug extension cord becuase there are never enough plugs....and much more.
I really hope people find all of the items we've selected uesful.
Here's a picture of the gift bag.
We're starting by putting these in the cabins of our Dreams Unlimited Travel clients on 7-Night Cruises out of Port Canaveral. As we tweak and adjust pur processes and incorporate the feedback from our clients these will eventually go into every stateroom booked through Dreams Unlimited Travel.
The first ones went in staterooms today - 5/5/2012.
We are very excited and anxiously await people's feedback when they get them!!!

I read the list to my husband, what I could see and what you just listed. His first comment on the hand sanitzer was "because you can never find hand sanitizer on DCL. " Our joke is how often we use the stuff on the ship, even though we just washed our hands we have it again when we enter the restaurants. When I read the part about the multiplug extension cord though he said "tell them they have a winner. That is a very useful item and a great idea!"
I like the bag that they items come in, you can never have too many bags! And whatever is included, we'll be thankful and not complain. It's a gift, and for a gift we say "thank you" and that's it. Looking forward to seeing ours in December! I was just thinking about Shirley today because we are taking our niece on this trip and will for the first time had a child along where we can order one of SHirley's amazing gift baskets that I've seen here for years. We usually order flowers from her but this trip I think I'm going to do the basket for my niece instead.
I could not agree more about Kelsie.
The idea behind including hand santizer is so that you can bring it with you when you leave the ship. We know it's available at every food station onboard and when you get back on the ship - but these travel size ones are great for brining with you on shore excursions or even just shopping in port.
