STJ sounds beautiful right now...tooo cold here.

Much colder here today, too. We've got snow coming in, too- hope it finishes dumping on us by tomorrow!!!

Hey Ellen, Where are you staying in St. John/St. Thomas? I was looking into places for a family vacation there next year but couldn't figure out where to stay. Any suggestions? I've never been there but hear that those two islands are beautiful! We'll see them for short times on our 8/12 Fantasy cruise, but I'm looking to find a spot to hang out with family for a week....

But...if you wanted a resort, on St John the Westin is supposed to be very nice (you might be able to find a reasonable rental through an owner on Red Week) for families, lots of kids programs, etc. On St Thomas, I have heard the Ritz Carlton is spectacular, and is also really great for families.

It IS gorgeous there- I prefer it over the Western Caribbean, it is more lush & tropical to me.

carnival cruise march 26th 8 days, Antigua, Nassau, Tortolla, and St Thomas... but enough about me... wooohoo another vacation for you! Have fun cant wait to hear all about it!!!!!! dont drink anything I wouldnt drink LOL

the villa looks fantastic! But I am not so sure about a bedroom under the pool.. diving through a pool in order to get to your room sounds like a rather wet affair...

Thanks for the tea picture, Looks wonderful! I can understand that it is so difficult to get into. Have to remember that romance package, I remember you writing about it, it was rather pricey but had some great perks, especially for first time cruisers due to the longer booking window.

I won't find out if he's taking me to Ireland or not until mid year 2012, or at least by August 8th 2012. lol

We are currently renting the house that we are going to buy. It's my great grandparent's house, and now there have been 6 generations live in it. It's going to need a TON of upgrades though. But, hopefully we will get those out of the way fast and I will have a great house again. (The current landlords are NOT family and have let the house go since it's "just a rental". Really sucks, but they are willing to sell us the house, with the stipulation that we leave the house just the way it is, as a living memory of my grandparents... BUT that's a whole different story. .)

WOW!!! That would be great- that Ritz Carlton in STT is supposed to be spectacular!! Red Week is a site for Timeshares where people rent them out-I have a friend who always goes there for the Westin in STJ, he bargains and gets a great deal-

They stopped offering the REAS package when they changed the Castaway program... I would have done it again!

The shower is fabulous- you can see the ships go by from STT while you are in there- well, you can from the whole house, but it's really cool from the shower!!

I am having the WORST time with my PTA emails, OMG...if you ever get an email account on HOTMAIL like I did...baaaaaaad mistake .....what a PITA!!!!!!!!!! OK- good thing the snorkeling, laughing and drinking is so incredible here- we arelovin every minute of all 88 degrees...OMG!!!!!!
