IT Audits...

We had an IT Audit last night...I got dinged for an unsecured USB Storage device.

In actuallity it was my input for my wireless mouse.

I have since put a label on the device...that says...Mouse.

If I had to guess, I'd bet Chuck put it there.

So it looks like our vacation next year is going to include WDW after all! However... it all depends on whether I can get into BWV in March. Still looking into renting DVC points for this trip... and I have received some great advice so far from a couple of dads here. If all works out according to plan, this will be the first year I get to spend my birthday at Disney World!!!

Woo freaking hoo!!

Just emailed the analysis I've been working on all day (except for the time spent in the car driving to Omaha) to my legal tech. I'll stop by the office and sign it on Thursday, and take care of any other little last-minute loose ends. But that was the big thing. With that out of the way, I can FINALLY just focus on leaving for vacation on Friday!!

I wouldn't stop there, put a label on everything else in the cubicle. Or come up with a numbering system and send them an index sheet.

Laptop...Keyboard...screwdriver...monitor...gum...booger...Chuck...family picture...Vinylmation Jr. Collection...Mug...dust bunny...etc.

Well we are also supposed to had our flippers locked too...but I have some super magnets from a bad Hard-drive that simulates a locked flipper...if you put enough "leverage" (in my best Capt. Jack Sparrow voice) in the right spot the flipper will open...but to the common auditor...it's locked.

When I was calling Disney about our vacation booking, they kept asking me if I was celebrating anything. I said, "You mean other than the fact that I'm going on vacation?" Apparently that doesn't qualify as a celebration.

I think you should make something up - you know, something like, "my bi-annual frenulum cleaning" - just so you can see it written out on a Disney plate in chocolate. Imagine:

"Congratulations on your clean frenulum!"

right below your cupcake on the plate!

I was going to tell them that I just got acquitted of murder charges and we are celebrating as a family.

I wonder if they have a button/pin for that one. My kids came home with 3-4 each that say "My First Trip to Disney."

As you can see, the Touchdown Mickey division is up for grabs with 1 game separating 7 teams. It is very competitive and should remain that way until the last week. This week is the first bye week of the NFL season so we should see the teams with good depth really come through

The marquee matchup this week in the Touchdown Mickey Division has to be the game between the Small World Singers and the Test Track Dummies. Both are 2-1 so the winner will have a nice edge after this weekend. The early favorite has to be the Test Track Dummies whose wait in line is only slightly less annoying than "It's a Small World".

In the Sport Goofy division, we have two teams that are still undefeated. This week, they play each other for first place in the division. Unfortunately, the Matterhorn Yodelers have been hit hard by Byes this week, so they will be yodelling against the Mouse of Pain at less than full strength. It should still be an exciting matchup. Finally, the owner of the only remaining winless team, the Passamaquoddy Dragons, has a much-needed vacation planned. Hopefully, his boys will be re-charged and ready to rock upon his return.

Cut the rest of the quote out in order to save space on here, but I have to say that is a well written rundown of the league. I would talk some trash about Small World Singers, but seeing how he has Drew Brees and the Saints Defense both going against Carolina..... I'd better just save the trash talk for after this week if I can manage to steal this one.

We were able to get a standard view at BWV for Spring Break in April. It will be our first time there. I have heard good things. Anything specific that we should do? Good luck on getting the room.
