Jennifer & Daniel's PJ-WP/Ariels/SCP-6/14/10- DP &MK Pics,album,HM TR - updated 1/25

Hey,

Being a fellow "Miami-an", I have been reading you're PJ and I'm subscribing now that I am an official Disney Bride.

Congratulations, and from what I've seen your wedding is going to be beautiful!

I love the Dolphin color scheme. We're big fin fans ourselves.

With love,

Both of those dresses are very pretty. I'm just glad it's all resolved now.

Have fun packing and maybe I'll see you at Disney in about a week! Yay!

Yes, we will def see each other in WDW!!

WOW! You are so close!
Glad things are coming together...Even happier that Alfred Angelo is stepping up to the plate and refunding the money your mom paid to rush her dress...How frustrating!
Amazing it will be here before you know it!!! :yay:

I know, it's so close! We leave in 6 days!

So, I've mentioned here before that I have neck issues. It was diagnosed as a permanent muscle spasm because the muscle doesn't lay flat like it should, instead it is always going rigid/tight. The MRI showed muscle and tendons of the right side of my neck pulled into a tight "c" shape while the left side was laying flat or "normal". Well this is a constant pain I deal with that sometimes won't hurt at all or at times feels like there is a vice around my neck and head just tightening and tightening.

Saturday I woke up turned my head to one side and heard a crack. Next thing I knew I couldn't move my neck in any direction. It took me almost 10 minutes to get out of bed. Well Danny was working (he works at a hospital as an ER tech) so I had to get my mom. She immediately took me to the ER where I was taken right in (I later find out I was taken so quickly bc they thought I had menangitis, LOL!). So the nurse comes in, feels around and then we wait, and wait, and wait for the Dr. We finally se her and she does absolutely NOTHING! Gives me some valium and a motrin 800 and I get discharged with a note that says I can't go to work until Thursday becaus ei can't drive.

Imagine, it's the end of the school year and I'm going to have to miss the last 3 days of school? My students have finals to take and I have grades to turn in!! :scared1::eek::headache:

So I call my boss, explain what's going on and then call the doctor who's been dealing with my neck. His service pages him that day but he doesn't call back. So I end up just going to his office Monday morning and waiting until I can be squeezed in. He finally sees me and after doing a quick scan in his office he's ready to take my to surgery and do an RF (radio frequency) procedure that will burn the nerves in the muscle which should relax the spasm completely.

Ummmm... NO! I'm getting married in a week, there's no way I can do that, then be on bed rest for 5 day! NO WAY!!!!!!!!!:mad:

So instead we schedule the procedure for the week I get back from my honeymoon. But we still need to deal with the fact that I can't move my head! He decides to inject my neck 6 times with steroids/anti-inflammatory meds so I can at least make it through this week.

My neck feels much better, there's still lingering pain that I'm taking muscle relaxants and pain meds for. But I can move my neck and I'm hoping that I'll at least make it to next wednesday when I'll be back home, can get injected again and then leave on my Honeymoon next sunday.

So that has been my last 3 days... but

WE LEAVE OR WDW IN 2 DAYS!!!!!!

I'll have my laptop with me and I have my iPhone so I can update while I'm away! :thumbsup2

Wow, hang in there... I'm sure everything will work out and try to keep your stress down...i had a friend who went through the same thing and they say stress doesn't help.:thumbsup2

Hope you feel better:littleangel:

Oh my gosh. I don't know what to say but I can imagine the stress of missing the last 3 days of school. I am more stressed about wrapping up the school year and not my wedding in about 16 days, if you know what I mean. The wedding is fun but IEP paperwork and all..... Oh, you are reminding me I haven't done my grading yet. I am so glad it is not something new and hope the injections tie you over. take care

Oh My God! I hope the injections help you be comfortable for your wedding day! I was just thinking you were soo close to your date (and me to my birthday) and that I hoped all was well :wizard:

I'm so sorry you're going through this so close to the wedding, sending lots of pixie dust that the medication continues to do it's job and that you have an amazing wedding day!

I am sorry that you had to deal with all of this so close to your wedding :( As if the end of the school year wasn't stressful enough, now you have added worry. I hope that you find a way to get it feeling better so that you can enjoy every moment of your wedding day - it is coming so soon!

So, the bags are packed, we just have to load the cars and fill up the tanks!

We're probably leaving at around 9 tomorrow so we can get to Franck's and drop of our favors earlier in the day.

One day until we leave!
