Here is the email with options and prices I received from VP last month. THe last trip I ordered the chocolate lovers basket with a Minnie mouse plush for DD. IT was gorgeous w/lots of yummy's. They will personalize it however you want really.

Celebration Round-Up & BBQ


Celebration Ranch is a wonderfully immersive outdoor experience that includes continuous entertainment where Woody, Jessie, and friends visit. Celebration Ranch is not a Character Dining location, but does welcome characters to the dining experience.


There is a photo location at the entrance to the restaurant where all Guests will stop prior to being taken to their table. This is a very interactive, fun restaurant and is the perfect place to celebrate everything! However, you don't have to be celebrating to enjoy the delicious food and fun atmosphere.


Since Celebration Round-Up & BBQ at Big Thunder Ranch is an outdoor location, during inclement weather the restaurant will close. On days of inclement weather, Guests are encouraged to call Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE to confirm their reservation. Vacation Planning may book your experience initially, by calling us at (714) 300-7526, option 2.


Guests ages 3 - 9 will receive a complimentary goody bag. Other Celebration merchandise will be available for purchase at this location.

I got all excited thinking we had an opportunity to go at the end of August before school started. Then I find out that hubby's boss will still be on maternity leave and he will be the only one covering! Darn it! She should have consulted MY vacation plans before planning her family.

So those who are not local, are you flying or driving? We have decided to drive, it will make the trip easier on my Father. It will also allow us to bring some food and sodas from home to have in the room.

I'm thinking of adding another day to our trip, but not sure. as I have the Disboard Diva trip just a couple of months after this and could put that money that trip.

How are you paying for the hotel stay? Did you pay all at once when you booked? Or are you paying a certain amount each payday?
I've been paying one night of the hotel each month.

Unfortunately, we have to fly in or we'd be pretty tired swimming that far It would be nice to have a car for the reasons you stated.... am thinking about grocery deliveries or maybe a quick cab ride out for goodies.

And, funny you ask, I decided a while ago to add another night (from 4 to 5) and just paid for the second day of our trip. Am trying to do one night every two months so it will be paid off by the time we get there. Not to mention I'll have more awards points on the card.

My husband, my adult son and myself will be arriving at DLR on November 29 and staying until December 6. We have stayed at WDW on numerous occasions at that time of year but this will be our first Christmastime stay at DLR. In fact, for my husband, it will be his first ever visit to DLR so I'm hoping it will be magical for him. We've already booked our flights and we're staying at the Disneyland Hotel using our DVC points. We decided to really splurge and are staying concierge since we've never stayed concierge before at any hotel and using our points is probably the only way we'd ever be able to afford to do so.

I really want to book the Christmas time behind the scenes tour, the Fantasmic dessert buffet thingy and the Candlight Processional dining package. Also, does anyone know the phone number for the Disney department that you used to be able to call at DLR where they would book all your tours, meals, etc for you as long as you're staying at one of the on site hotels. I did use their services a few years ago and it was fantastic but I don't still have the phone number.
