The Dasani Girl takes on the World...PREGNANT!! UPDATED!! 12/31 day 7

The hotel looks really nice.

I hope so! I told Darren it kind of looks like it would be on that Verizon commercial where that old man is scary and then he's like, "The towels are kinda scratchy!" :rotfl:

Very nice and great that you added a day to you vacation!! Two weeks..wow, it'll be here before you know it!!

I know. Crazy. I can't believe how close it is, it doesn't feel like it.

Thats so cool you get to add an extra night. We always stay at the airport the night before we fly just to make things easier and its so much nicer, its like the real start to the holiday. And that place looks really nice. How long is the drive for you then? Oh and have you still got your Mustang?

7 1/2 and 2 1/2 is 10...So 10 hours for a normal person. But a pregnant person? Probably about 12 hours with all the rest stops we'll have to have! :rotfl:
I'm just glad we'll wake up and only have 2 1/2 hours to get there.

Nope, we sold my Mustang, much to my dismay. When we got the Expedition, it was pretty much neglected and it started having engine problems. I felt like crying when we sold it, and I still can't think about it too much :sad2: . That was my first car, I got it when I was 16. I really needed something easier, with a back door for the baby.
But now I have to see someone driving it around town and he seriously made it look so bad. He put all kinds of weird stickers all on it and everything. It disgusts me to see it lol.

Are Darren's parents joining you in the beginning or end of the trip?

Neither, they had to cancel. I'm kind of glad that it's just me and Darren for one last trip alone! :lovestruc
Sorry I forgot to mention that they weren't going. They just decided a couple of weeks ago.
But now his mom thinks we shouldn't go because I'm pregnant. I keep having to remind everyone that they do have a hospital nearby and it's not like we're going to the middle of nowhere. We'll have help if something were to happen.

Ah thats a shame you had to sell it. Its a shame Nick couldn't have brought it, he would have looked after it for you.

Your only 10 hours from Disney, you are so lucky. I would love to just be able to drive there. Then again if I could I would be there every weekend . I am glad you and Darren get to go just the 2 of you, I know you really wanted to. Have you been looking in to all the alternative things you can do being pregnant, like looking for hidden mickeys and all the little extra things like Cinderella's wishing well (can't believe I missed that last time :sad2:). And have you any plans yet of when you are taking Brayden?

I'm glad you are going to get a couples only trip in before the baby. That is something I wish we would have done before our DD arrived.

Just keep reminding people that being pregnant is not a medical condition! If you are healthy, then you can do whatever you feel comfortable doing. :)

the econo lodge looks nice. i remember stayin in one when i was much younger. it should be comfy and if not, your only 2 1/2 hours from disney :thumbsup2 :cool1:

That hotel seems nice! I love finding good deals and you can't beat the free breakfast! hehe  Also, I just realized that you have the same birthday as my best friend! (Nov. 28th) When I clicked on your page- I just happened to glance down and see that- I was thinking.. why didn't I notice that before.. hmm. .whoo knows.. anyways.. mines also in Nov. but its the 19th! Go Scorpios! hehe:cool1:

That's nice it's just you and Darren. It will definitely be a great time before the baby arrives.

Aw, I wish Nick could have bought it. Would have been kind of expensive to ship, though!! :rotfl:

When I think of how far YOU have to travel, the ten hours don't seem so bad. It's so exciting passing all of the orange fields and knowing you're almost there. Plus, I won't fly, so I could never live overseas. I don't see how you survive such a long flight, I would be so nervous!

Yeah, we'll do leisurely things like that, see all the things that usually go unnoticed. It'll be a different kind of trip, I think it'll be fun! We'll probably take Brayden in January 2010, hopefully anyway! If not, then most likely sometime in 2010.

The only time we've been to Disney ourselves is our honeymoon. So I guess this is considered our 'babymoon'. :rotfl:

I agree! My doctor was like, "Absolutely!!" when I asked her if I could go. I'm PREGNANT, not a child myself. I'll know if something were wrong, and get help. I really won't be doing that much there, and we're stopping every couple of hours on the way there so I can get out and walk (don't want blood clots for sure!). I think we can handle this!

Thanks! I know, I just realized we could have stayed an extra night in Disney for about the same price lol. The point was splitting the trip so we weren't exhausted driving the whole way through, but it's only 2 1/2 more hours. Oh well, it'll be a new experience!

Thanks! Aw, that's cool that me and your best friend have the same birthday! Yay for turkey babies! We're Sagittarius (I know I didn't spell that right lol) though.

Thanks. At least I can tell him he got to go to Disney and didn't even know it at the time!

The hotel looks nice!

I hope it is. Pictures can be deceiving lol. It had good reviews though, the best in that area for the price.

What? Uh oh...Could it be? Oh yes, I think it is.........

When we got back last time Nick started looking in to getting a Mustang. Although the cars themselves were affordable it costs so much to ship them over. And all the ones that we have over here are either stupidly expensive (were talking £20k upwards), or there in bad condition. Its just another reason we have to move over ;)

I don't mind flying at all, especially on the way over I am just so excited to be going on holiday. I do get bored though, I am quite a fidgetty and impatient person, especially on the way back when your going home and back to reality. Disney isn't that bad its only 9 hours flight, when we went to Thailand it was over 14 and that wasn't funny. Nick really wants to go back to Australia but I have told him the only way I am going is if we fly First Class as it is just so far. I cant see us shelling out £20k just for flights any time soon though

It should be really nice seeing and doing different things, its a perfect excuse to see a different side of Disney and really relax. Sounds good to me :thumbsup2. So Brayden wont have to wait too long for his first trip then (well 2nd of sorts), how exciting :woohoo:
