How nice of you to babysit, I am sure the rest of the adults enjoyed their night out.

What nice strangers buying you a shot. My body has a strange resistance to tequila, I can down quite a few shots without feeling anything. Vodka on the other hand gets to me quickly. :confused3

Kids...I just don't get them. If I had fresh, delicious pizza right in front of me, I would not be giving you the pouty face.:(

Yes, my palate is THAT refined! ;)

I ate it..:rolleyes1

Aww! How sweet of you to watch the kids.

Great thing is....I get to give them back at the end of the night...:thumbsup2

First: You're welcome! I think it is a little big though. :rolleyes1 Great pic!!

It's not too bad...I haven't washed it yet...

And yeah, no Walmart. It was a BIG deal when they put a KMart in the city. There is supposedly a Walmart about 45 miles from here north, another 30ish miles west (maybe more??), and a few relatively close miles wise (BUT a rough drive) in Brooklyn. My parents used to live 20 minutes from Walmart, so I HAVE been to one, but it's been a few years. No JoAnn here anymore, either.

I like Target better than WalMart.

No JoAnn for you must be like a alcoholic w/o his beer.

<CUE FORBODING MUSIC....>
Seriously, though, it's REALLY cool of you to do this. I have such a problem finding people to watch my kids....that's another reason I love WDW....Kids clubs!

Forgot about the kids club and there's one at the BC.....:thumbsup2

He's thinking: "I want the buffalo strips!!"

He does love chicken......

Welcome to the normal meal routine of a mom. Ever seen that scene in "A Christmas Story", where Ralphie says his mom never had a warm meal for 18 (or something) years?? SOOOOO true.

It's a fact.....

Dude said:
Deedle doo deedle doo deedle doo... .

I was trying to write it, but couldn't figure it out...This will do just fine.:thumbsup2

Dude said:
Looks like they had a nice night! Were you asleep when they returned? Any blackmail pics??

Nope........

I'm just giving you this signal and you can figure the rest out....:wizard:

Dude said:
Walked (read: stumbled) then sat (read: collapsed) enjoyed view (read: stared at the pink elephants ice skating on the stil water until I could trust myself to make it back to the room)

:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Dude said:
OOHHH! Busted!! Was it Kim for trying to pose with the peeps?? Or did you try to sneak a too-short kid onto a ride??? OOOOHHH! (for full effect, this must be said with the tone of an elementary schooler with the proper "you're gonna get in trouble!" gleeful tone and cadence)

Keep guessing.

I had to share this with all my peeps:

From the Baby Bloopers page in this month's Parents magazine
Our 4 yr old daughter, Julia, was hungry before dinner and asked to eat a few Peeps for a snack. My wife reminded her that the sweets aren't nutritious and would spoil her appetite. Julia remarked, "But Mom, they have chicken in them."

Who knew!?!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That IS funny! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I second that.......

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Jordan, your babysitting adventure is my every day life. I don't remember the last time I had "hot" food. :lmao:

that's why I remain single.;)

That was very nice of you to babysit so the others could have a nice evening out, I know they're rare and much appreciated:goodvibes

Cold food...now you have had a taste of parenting...after you become a parent you don't have hot, or warm food to often...or showers...:rotfl:

:lovestruc Creme Brulee :lovestruc That looked so yummy!!!

Glad you got to go out after babysitting and enjoy yourself:)

This is not my last night babysitting...so more madness coming....

I love the shirt Jordan and to accessorise with Flat Winkers :rotfl:

What a sweetie you are to babysit the kids, it looked like the adults had a great night and so did you once they returned :lmao:

I love my alone time at the end of the night....it's my time to unwind after being tour guide for the day.

Mom, I'm surprised you're still up!!!!!

I know, I shouldn't have been. I had just finished an update on my TR and I couldn't tear myself away from the DIS, it's a sickness. I partially blame you though because when I should already be in bed you start posting (around 1 a.m.) and I have to come check it out.

I'll try to be better...

Jordan! You're too sweet to babysit the kiddos. I bet you're lots of fun! (no matter what Dylan's look says.) ;)

I usually fall asleep....:rolleyes1

The pictures of you and Erin are ADORABLE! Those are such great memories to have saved. The kids were all so cute during your adventure in babysitting, it was awesome of you to watch them so everyone else could go out. You got to spend time with the kids and then still end the night on an ESPN note :thumbsup2

ESPN Club and I are like this...

And THAT is the reason why so many of us moms gain weight! :rotfl:

I don't think it would be nice to laugh, but...:rotfl2:

Vodka is water to me........

He mentioned it about a month ago............I just need to know what it's called so I can do a drive by "peeping"!;)

It's called 2M Company, on East Broadway & 3rd close to Big R & kitty corner from L Rodeo Cafe. I don't think we have any signs up yet. Supposed to open in April. We're Wholesale only (no retail).

What a great guy you are.... Missing out on Le Celier to watch the kiddies. I hope Dylan ate his dinner..

It was time for dinner at Le Cellier, only I'm not going. That's right folks; Uncle Jordy's on babysitting detail!

Bummer! :rotfl2:

I do this in part to "pay back" Wendy and Derek for inviting me on vacation. I also do it because I'm nice and actually like hanging with the kids.

I wont even baby-sit my OWN kids, let alone some "ankle-biters" that aren't even mine! :scared:

Derek says go ahead and order room service so I order a Club Sandwich and Buffalo Strips. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....It arrived fresh and hot...Oops can't eat quite yet...gotta feed the kids

For playing the martyr, you shoulda ordered a nice juicy steak! :thumbsup2

I made the kids a frozen pizza (hey, it was the best I could do) and got some grapes out for them. Baby J and Erin had no problem eating their dinner. I had some issues w/ Dylan. Here he is sitting until he eats his food...
wdwfeb2008163.jpg

Frozen Pizza rules! I like it better than the restaurants! I'm not EVEN joking!

I love the expression! :rotfl2:

So now it was just Dylan and Erin...always pretty easy....

Try watching my monsters. They've run off more than one babysitter in their day.

As Dylan and Erin were having their brains turned to jello watching TV, I began to wonder how dinner at Le Cellier was going...............

Never wonder. It's always Excellent! :thumbsup2

Their food looked great.

They came back around 10:15pm.

I took off and had a drink or two or three at ESPN.

Thats my boy. ::yes::

There was a mortgage conference (cue funeral music) at the Swan/Dolphin and there were 3 guys at the end of the bar drinking away the pain (they were actually pretty happy). They were getting ready to leave and were doing shots. Of course, I must have some light flashing above my head saying "This guy can drink. Buy him a drink." They buy me a tequila shot...and we all do them. They were more like double shots.......

Pfft... Mortage Brokers can't drink. Come travel with me sometime and I'll take you to some of my drilling contractors. You'll never be the same. :scared:

Nice of them to buy you a shot. I spend so much time in hotels, restaurant bars, and such that I ALWAYS end up making a friend of some sort. Most of the time, I buy them a drink.

I walked out onto the Boardwalk. I sat on a bench and enjoyed the view....The water was so still.

Disney alone... many times, it's the best! :thumbsup2

The ultimate Peep show

peeps.jpg

Ok...Ok...I know, I am waaaayyy behind, but I just got back from WDW so cut me a little slack.

I'm trying to get out from under a ton of e-mails and needed a break, so where did I go??? Jordan's TR, of course.

I just had to thank Mickeeefan for posting this picture. I really needed the laugh. I just about fell off my chair.

That was wonderful of you to watch the kids for them.
I love Dylan's face. If looks could kill:rotfl2:
Those drinks look yummy!! May have to try one(or 2) when we are there is Sept.
How nice of the gentlemen to buy you a shot. May I borrow your sign??

Oh and by the way...I thank you for putting the sound from Wayne's World in my head. Now I can not get it out. (and by thanking I mean yelling at you)

how nice of you to babysit. and you still got some drinking time in. :thumbsup2

the pics looked nice.

cannot believe you ate the food cold and did not reheat it.

looking forward to more.

I like Target too but Walmart is my fav. Ours isn't a huge one but I am so familiar with it and know so many peiople who work there it's really a social experience for me.The cashiers know I have the grandkids and steer me to bargains or admire what I've found. The one I don't like is K Mart they have so few cashiers it is ridiculous. I have been in line at the ONLY open register and she closed down while I was in Line !!

Here he is sitting until he eats his food...

Dylan still sitting....oh...he eats a grape:thumbsup2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
For some reason I am reminded of Woody's line in Toy Story: "What I am thinking, I can't say because there are preschool toys present." Only in the case of Dylan I guess he is technically the preschool toy. :)

I was finishing my now cold food. Maybe my brian was jello because I could've just used the microwave to reheat my food. Yeah, I just got that brilliant idea 5 minutes ago....I'm a little slow.

This is why mommy brains are a bit slow on the uptake...they turn to jello...

As Dylan and Erin were having their brains turned to jello watching TV, I began to wonder how dinner at Le Cellier was going...............

Cue dream sequence music..... do your best Wayne's World with the fingers......

Smiles, smiles everywhere at the entrance:
IMG_0171.jpg

More smiles....(they wouldn't be smiling if they knew the kids were playing with knives)
IMG_0172.jpg

Okay, I was totally doing the music and the fingers :).

Yeay! Le Cellier! We booked for the first time for this June! I am so excited!

Drinks, drinks, drinks....oh....and a little tongue:
IMG_0175.jpg

Double yeay! More silly BFF pics!

Warning Food Porn Ahead.

Oh, yeah! That's what I am talking about!

I can't believe that I actually did the music out loud when I read this ...(I however didn't not do the finger thing.)
Sadly, I did the finger thing...

That's how my walmart is. I hope I don't get flamed on this one, but I hate our walmart...they have everything, but that's because the lines are 19 miles long...only one or two lines actually move, but who ever picks the right line?!.

What a great guy you are.... Missing out on Le Celier to watch the kiddies. I hope Dylan ate his dinner..

He did not finish.:confused3

It's been 6-7 years since I've eaten at Le Cellier.:sad1:

Great TR. Dylan looks like he's ready to throw food at you! :upsidedow

Don't give him any ideas......:rolleyes1

I wont even baby-sit my OWN kids, let alone some "ankle-biters" that aren't even mine! :scared:

I think you'd probably be a great kid watcher.....

The sandwich and Buffalo Strips cost almost as much as a dinner at Le Cellier.....:scared:

It must be a guy thing because fresh out of the oven, the pizza was pretty good.

Dylan has 100's if not 1000s of great expressions....

Believe it or not, I get that look alot.

I have no idea what those drinks are...I think all non-alcoholic.

Sorry about the Wayne's World ...........

I'm first!

NOOOO! I'm first.. how about this

:woohoo: I'm 8th, no 9th.. hey wait 14th.. no not again 30th, hang on, there's more????? ok here we go, i'm 40th no 50th.. awww nuts. forget it.:headache:

Dog....you're too funny...Can I go on vacation with you guys?

how nice of you to babysit. and you still got some drinking time in. :thumbsup2

the pics looked nice.

I know I can't believe I didn't think of it until just last night.....

Great service at Kmart.....

Are you calling me a mommy..........

Well you can tell me how it is...................

Are you calling me a mommy..........

Nah, I was just pointing out that the jello-like brain feeling you were experiencing is similar to the jello-like feeling most of us mommies feel by the end of the day. As exhaustion sets in, the ability to critically think and problem solve are the first things to go...some days we just sit and twitch once the kids are in bed :).

And that's the reason Starbucks was invented. ;)
