Zune to Ipod touch question

My DD will be 18 in April and she wants an ipod touch, the newest generation. She currently has a zune and all her music is on Zune and Windows Media Player.

If we buy her one can she put this music on her new ipod? or does she need to join itunes and pay to repurchase her music?

I know we can put the current music we have on the many sansa players we own.

She can keep the songs she already has. She just needs to load them in her iTunes library and then add them all to the Touch.

should work fine if she installs iTunes, as long as the stuff is DRM Free and in the mp3 format, which it probably is.

If it is in the windows format, (wma I think), iTunes should convert it to mp3. That might be time consuming, but it should work.
