has anyone seen it? Trying to decide if it's worth taking my daughter this weekend. Thanks

I took my younger cousins to see it. It was a pretty cute movie, and I think they liked it.

Myself, my DH, and two of our friends all went yesterday. I was really pleasantly surprised with how good it was! We are all in our 20's, no kids, and still loved it. It's a really well done movie.

We went last night and really enjoyed it. It has a very powerful message that will likely go over the heads of many but we thought it was extremely well done! We highly recommend it.

Rotten Tomatoes (a conglomeration of several movie critics) gave it a 98% approval rating. That's very very rare.

Saw it today and loved it. Love the characters of Judy & Nick. Great voice cast. Enjoyed the movie and want to see it again.

I will say - there is some stuff that could be scary for very young kids, FWIW.

There was one part where everyone - adult and kid alike - jumped in our theater. And quite a few other parts where my three year old got scared and said, "why did you bring me to this movie??"
But at the end of the movie both my kids (5&3) said they really liked it.

We just got back, kids 7 and 9 thought it was great! The adults loved it too.

I watched it today, it's now my new favorite Disney film and Judy Hopps has become my new favorite Disney character. I hope WDW will make a future announcement for when Judy and Nick will become meetable in the future besides only showing up for the Move It Shake it Celebrate It dance part at MK.

It was really good. Not the best EVER. But really good and worth going to see. That said, my DD4 was scared during some parts and that is rare for her . . .

Yeah, I jumped at that part, too. A small child behind me expressed distress and the mom said, "yeah, that scared mommy, too."

I so totally don't want to spoil anything - but I really wish I could have seen the movie in a total vacuum so I wasn't anticipating things before I even got there. I will say that our audience did not respond much to the sloth scene, I think because we've already seen it over and over in all the promos. It would be awesome if Disney was brave enough just once to do a movie and say, "Just trust us, you'll like it," and not show us more than a basic teaser in advance.

Loved it....thought some parts were a bit intense.
Saw it on the Disney Fantasy :)

We saw it last night. It was quite a unique experience. For whatever reason, two adult individuals thought it would be appropriate to show up to the theater wearing fox ears and fox tails. No joke. I have no idea how they even sat down. Then, one of them turned to the other, made a high-pitched barking sound while pointing at their popcorn, and was handed said popcorn. As I type this, I can't believe this actually happened.

The family in front of us had three kids, who burst out laughing. The grandmother said "Oh my..." and sounded exactly like Amy's mother on Everybody Loves Raymond, which sent us into hysterics, along with the people behind us, and it's a miracle that everybody managed to quiet down before the start of the movie.

The movie itself was wonderful. So, if you can avoid the issue of grown people dressing up and acting like animals at your local theater, I think you'll enjoy it. :rotfl2:
