Wow that's so cool that you just walked up to Brown Derby and got in! Everything looked really good, and that's really nice that they gave you champagne to celebrate! I'd like to go there someday, but every time I look at the menu, I'm just not impressed! But then I read reviews and I think I'd like it!

Ok, that's weird too. I'm pretty sure your post wasn't there when I replied to oboedm (you did post after I did), yet it shows up before hers just like mine does.

Yeah, looking at the menu online we had absolutely no plan on eating at Brown Derby. But Ron loves to walk up to restaurant and check the menu outside, so that's what we did. It looked decent enough, so we walked in. It was a good decision, as the way they received us, the food, and the surprise champagne and dessert were the perfect ending to my perfect day.

Before that trip DHS was at the very last position on my ranking of parks, pretty far behind AK. And of course Epcot and MK were our main focus this trip. But after spending 2 days there, I can easily say that DHS has now moved up to equal MK and Epcot. There is just so much to love at DHS!

I've been in love with the color turquoise for a few years now, so I'm pretty excited to theme a room around it, boy or girl.

I too have a turquoise obsession. Really any variation on blue/green. If you want me to buy something just paint it turquoise and it's sold! hehe. I love the art work for the nursery. I used to like a similar artist who did a bunch of underwater scenes with dolphins and whales.

I'm thinking of you this morning and wishing you luck as you go into your ultrasound! Very exciting. Can't wait to hear!

I can't wait to hear how the ultrasound goes and hope that you find out if you have a Miss or Master. As far as the nursery goes and incorporating those paintings, why not go with a jungle theme. You could still paint the walls your favorite color and then incorporate the pictures and jungle animals into the theme.

REAL Ultrasound Results

I just came back from my ultrasound. What a different experience it was! The technician was super agreable. Like a happy tour guide walking us through everything. The doctor who came after to check up on things was also super nice and informative.

They both said that they are about 97% sure (so as sure as it can get) that we are expecting a...





















































GIRL!!!!



I'm ecstatic, couldn't be happier! Ron of course is also very excited! Everyone we've told is also super excited for us.

The only "bad" thing, and I put bad in " " because it's also a good sign, but she was SO active that we couldn't get a clear image for the 3D part of the ultrasound. She had both her arms, knees, legs, feet around her head, so it was really hard to get a good shot of the face. Oh well, she's healthy and that's all that counts. I'm in love.

Seriously, my turquoise love is bordering on obsession too. We were at the hardware store looking for an ice-breaker and I saw this garden hose in turquoise. I was like "ooooh! What's that? Do I need one?" I was almost ready to buy it, even though I live in an apartment.

I love all those puzzles that are underwater scenes with dolphins and lots of tropical fish. There's often a sunset too over the water. So beautiful!

Result of ultrasound is just above. I'm on cloud nine right now.

Thank you! I know I would have been happy with a boy, but a girl is like a dream come true! Especially since my relationship with my mom wasn't always easy. It'll be nice to get to experience it differently.

Yay a girl!!!! Congratulations! Remember girls love turquoise. That's so funny about the garden hose, I do the same thing! hehehe. In HS I moved with the 'rents to Maine. They built a house and I got to pick the carpet and wall colors of my room. I chose a tropical turquoise carpet painted two walls yellow and collaged the other two walls with tropical pictures. Love turquoise and yellow together. Made the room very bright and welcoming even in the middle of winter. I guess that explains my love for CBR too!

Anyhow, congratulations again. I can't wait for your first time with baby TR!
