I did a search and didn't find an answer to my question....which is, for those of you that have ordered kids glasses and had them tinted to be sunglasses, what color and what percent did you get?? Is the 85 percent to dark for a kid? Not interested in the magnet ones or the auto darkening. Just thougt I'd get a cheap pair and have them tinted. Zenni is still getting good reviews right? Thanks for you help. Breeze

I did 85% brown on mine and you can still slightly seey eyes thru them. They aren't dark at all- they actually just change the glare.

in whatever the darkest tint was. They are not as dark as most sunglasses, but for $17 we were thrilled with them. (She was begging for a pair for Disney..)

I ordered a pair for DS to wear at WDW last summer and got the darkest gray. They aren't too dark at all. He didn't wear them much because he didn't like to keep switching, but the glasses were fine. When we got them we took them to Target Optical and had them adjusted and from there we were good to go.

Thanks for the info. I didn't even consider ordering sunglasses for my son for the trip, but with them being so cheap...I might as well!

Thanks everyone! I thought about surprising her with a pair but maybe I better let her pick them out :goodvibes Hmmmm....maybe I ought to get me a pair too;)
