We need to decide what DS will be! We've picked Zachary, now I'm just having trouble with what we'll actually call him...more like how to spell it!! What do you think? I'm leaning toward Zack.

H. IMO, the k just looks "weird". Like it doesn't flow. I like the H better.

I've never liked Zack... I just see the "ack" which reminds me of "ick".

Another vote for ZACH! :thumbsup2

We have a Zacharie(no I did not pick that spelling)! He uses Zack as a shortened form of his name. He did that on his own but I have seen people interchange the two.

Just my opinion but I prefer Zach. I guess my thought is if were Zack it would be Zackery.

My son (who is now 20) is named Zachary, but we usually just call him Zach. For about his first year, we spelled it "Zack". But, then I started thinking about what it would be like for him to learn to write his name. I thought it might be confusing for him to use a "k" if he was writing Zack, and then an "h" if he was writing Zachary. Not a huge dilemma, I know, but we decided to go with the spelling of "Zach" to simplify things. I am so used to it now that I can't imagine spelling it any other way!

i don't really have a preference, but i do know more zacks than zachs.

With my 21 year old Zachary,we always used Zack.He changed it himself to Zac when he was about 13.

I named my son Zachary, after Mark-Paul's character on Saved By the Bell.

I was unsure how to spell it - with a "K" or "H". Until I remembered the episode where Zack and Kelly went to the prom (not the Jeff episode - the other one).

Zack made a banner that said "Zack and Kelly's Prom". His name was spelled with a "K".

Therefore, my son is a Zack.

His name gets misspelled often when it is shortened to Zack. His name is still spelled Zachary, he is just a Zack.

Yes, I am lucky I have a husband who didn't mind his child being named after an 80's - early 90's tv show. LOL.

I like Zack- Zach just looks odd---all the kids named Zachary I know go by Zack or Zac

My son is Zachary, and we call him Zach. My rational was that I didn't want to use the -k because it isn't part of his actual name. But that is just me :goodvibes

Either one is a good name :)

As a mom of a Victoria (8) I've always prefered the method of shortening the original "real" name to make up the nickname so I voted for Zach. :teacher:

My daughters name was shortened to Tori for her nickname and she will correct you if you try to call her Vicky or spell Tori with a "y"

ZACK! Which is how we spell it for my son. Zach seems slims the ch should sound like the ch in cheer. It's hard to spell it.

I admit I had quite a few Zacharys as friends and they were all Zack or Zac. I've never seen it Zach before. Could be regional.
