There is no one better looking then Robert Redford in Up Close and Personal. The man is HOT!!!!

I absolutely agree. I thought he was in his prime when he made Out of Africa. I've never gotten over the jealousy I felt towards Meryl Streep.

And how hot would it have been to see the two of them together doing the Bridges of Madison County instead of her and Clint Eastwood?

Yep, he was my ideal back in the day, him and Paul Newman. I was spastic when they starred together... man...

I remember when I first saw Brad Pitt I thought, wow, he looks like a young Robert Redford... now THAT'S a compliment!

I was watching an old Twilight Zone episode the other night in which he played an angel of death trying to get a little old lady to go with him. She resisted death as long as she could and then finally decided that it may not be so bad afterall.

I guarantee one thing, if an angel of death comes to get me and he looks like this younger Robert Redford, I'd go in a heartbeat.

I just saw him starring in "An Unfinished Life" with Morgan Freeman and Jennifer Lopez and I don't remember any moles. He had a scruffy-looking beard so maybe the whiskers covered them up? I dunno, but I thought he was still enjoyable to look at, even if he is almost 70...I'm nearing 50 myself so maybe that 'splains it...

I have a few favorite movies with him in them like "This Property is Condemned" with Natalie Wood, "Barefoot in the Park" with Jane Fonda, and "The Way We Were" with Barbra Streisand.

I'm a Paul Newman fan myself. But I understand where you are coming from with Robert Redford. Paul Newman still makes me swoon. LOL

He's absolutely perfect. In every way. He's such a bright shining soul, too - he shines from within.

With great, gorgeous, manly men like him (AND Paul Newman...what a hunk!), you just want to freeze them, somehow, to keep them from aging and eventually leaving us. But this would be the LAST thing that either of them would want, knowing their personalities.

My favorite Robert Redford performances have been:

1. The Great Gatsby (so beautiful he makes your heart hurt)
2. Out of Africa (so handsome he makes your heart hurt)
3. The Natural (so human he makes your heart hurt)
