Over my August vaction my family and I tried Boma(breakfast), Chef Mickey's(dinner), and Holloywood and Vine(dinner) for buffets.
They were amazing so for our upcoming trip we are planning to use our table credits on buffets, but what do you think is the best? Im thinking of going to Holloywood and Vine because of its Fantasmic Package, Boma but this time for dinner, and Chef Mickeys because it was an amazing dinner. Pure Perfec! But what other buffets should I try and for what meal.

Disney buffets are listed below:

1900 Park Fare
Biergarten
Boma
Cape May Cafe
Chef Mickey's Buffet
Crystal Palace
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Luau Cove
Donald's Breakfastosaurus
Fresh Mediterranean Market
Garden Grill Restaurant - Chip and Dale's Harvest Feast
Gullivers Grill At Garden Grove
Gullivers Grill At Garden Grove
Hollywood and Vine
Liberty Tree Tavern
Maya Grill
Mickey's Backyard BBQ
'Ohana
Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch
Princess Storybook Dining - Restaurant Akershus
Restaurant Akerskus
Tomorrowland Terrace Cafe
Trail's End Restaurant

(Keep in mind that I am a Muslim so I cant eat meat or any alcohol products so I want a buffet that will suit me needs)

P.S. How are the Swam and Dolphin buffets like?

We really enjoy the Crystal Palace. They have a wide variety of foods to choose from. There were several meats, lots of veggies, some casseroles, every kind of salad you could want, many different breads and lots of desserts. My favorite is the Fire Roasted Corn Spoon Bread. It's so yummy!

Here's a second vote for Crystal Palace! The salmon was awesome (kind of rare to find good fish on a buffet). I liked the salad bar too.

It's a buffet hybrid. There's a cold board (think cold cuts, cheeses, salads, fruits) that's "all you care to eat". You order an entree which is brought to your table and served a plate of desserts for the whole party to share. We've done the lunch there. It's also a character event highlighting 5 of the Disney princesses. Check out allears for a complete menu.

Since you are not a meat eater, avoid O'Hana. It serves hunks of skewered meats as the entree unless you can make do with the appetizer shrimp. Come to think of it--I could "make do" with the bread pudding dessert:goodvibes

Our family's favorite is Boma for dinner. The most picky of eater can find something and those more adventurous can try flavors not ordinarily available.

Enjoy your trip and the planning :goodvibes

Here are my opinions on these buffets

1900 Park Fare We did a 10:30 breakfast here and it was terrible. The place was slammed and so noisy we could not hear each other over the table. We did not get any character interaction because we were so tightly packed in a corner area, the characters just waved to us. The waitress was terrible and the food on the buffet was hard and dried out...like it was sitting for a very long time. There was one egg station open with a very long line.

Biergarten Been here many times and it never disappoints us. Great food and a fantastic show. The restuarant is gorgeous! The apple strudel drenched in warm vanilla sauce is to die for!

Cape May Cafe A must do for breakfast for us, we like to go very early, before 8, because the place is so quiet and you get alot of character time. The bread pudding and yogurt bar are the highlights of the breakfast (for me). For dinner we prefer to go after 6 because if you go right when they open the food is cold because it is sitting out on the buffet at 5 (30 minutes before they open, I saw them putting it out). The fried talapia is delish, the corn bread is great if it is not dried out, get the clam chowder it is fantastic, the ribs are awesome!

Chef Mickey's Buffet Went for dinner, not impressed at all. Blah terrible food that the kids were not happy with, most of the items were cold and hard. Fantastic character interaction.

Crystal Palace Awesome breakfast, great puffed french toast, hash and fresh fruit! We also like dinner, the adobe pork is out of this world. Beautiful restaurant

Donald's Breakfastosaurus Went for breakfast and it was very good, lots of krispie kreme donuts. Great character interaction

Hollywood and Vine Totally gross dinner there. The server was never around to clear our dirty plates, we piled them up on the dirty table next to us. She never came by to fill our drinks, the food was terrible and we had to wait an hour past our adr time to be seated...never again.

Princess Storybook Dining - Restaurant Akershus Great breakfast, lots of fun seeing the Princesses. Would go again.

Tomorrowland Terrace Cafe DOnt think they have buffet anymore, I think that was a one time deal last year but I could be wrong. FOr CS this place is so nasty, GROSS!

Since when can't a Muslim eat meat? I know several devout Muslims and they eat meat all the time. Did you mean pork?

We cant eat pork or drink alcohol at all, but when I meant meat I meant that we can only eat hallal meat. Hallal meat means meat prepared the Islamic way. I do eat meat if its hallal. Its kind of similar to kosher.

Sorry for the confusion.

When we went in August we had dinner at Boma and we really liked it. There was a soup I fell in love with. CP was really good too.

When we go in December We'll be going back to Boma and CP. Will also be going to H&V, hoping it is good too.

that you call Disney Dining and ask about dietary restrictions. I personally don't have the need but there have been many on this board that have noted the help they have been given.

Crystal Palace is my personal favorite of the buffets. The prime rib was much better than I expected. There is usually also turkey carved at the counter. There are a number of vegetables and salads that are very good. I really like the spoon bread which should be ok.

I'm not familiar enough with Hallal to know if it has the meat and dairy restrictions that are in Kosher eating.

Call and ask. I think you will great comfort knowing from the source.

crystal palace breakfast is my vote. how else would one want to start the day. great food ,right inside the mk, no brainer for a magic kingdom day!!!!
