Yuletide Tour

Has anyone ever taken the Yuletide tour? Is it worth doing? My mom and I were thinking of taking it this year. Would welcome any suggestions, advise or recommendations!

I asked this same question last year, and based on different responses, I decided not to do it. It seems that occassionally you get a very knowledgeable tour guide and so the tour is well worth it. But it seems that very often the tour guides are not very well-informed themselves, and a lot of people in the past have been dissappointed. However, I'd be anxious to hear recent responses. I'd love to take the tour sometime, hoping for improvement.

Not sure this is the answer you are looking for but I read the same things Simba's Mom did (it has to do with it being seasonal). I will say, if you are not there at the holiday time the Backstage Magic includes a tour of the holiday warehoue and it was fabulous. They explained a lot to us and give stories of whay an "essembly night" is like. I would love to see that first hand. I assume if you tour from Nov - Jan they skip this as the warehouse would be pretty bare.

I'm signed up to do this tour on Christmas eve morning. My dh and boys have no interest but I'd love to see the resorts and backstage areas. I have a friend on another board who did it last year and loved it. She said being in World Showcase before opening was really neat and they also give you a special collector's pin at the end of the tour. I don't really collect pins, but I know some really like that.
