The family is planning on a trip the first week of December.
I was wondering if anyone has taken this tour and their thoughts?

We do extensive outdoor decorating during the holiday season and I have
'appropriated' several ideas in the past from D-Land (Small World Holiday). I was thinking of ditching the two brats (15/12) to take the tour.

thanks...

I haven't but DW did last year. She apparently enjoyed it and became an instant expert on WDW holiday decorations.

Just be aware it runs long. The tour started at 8:30 and she returned to Epcot about 1:15.

What exactly is it? Are kids not allowed??
Most tours require you to be 16 years of age to participate. Read more about the Yuletide Fantasy tour -

This one is seasonal and it does tend to sell out rather quickly, so if you decide to do it, call as soon as you can for a reservation (details in the link). I booked our Yuletide Tour for the first week of December several months ago.

Best wishes -

That sounds fun. I think I might like to do it. Thanks to the OP for asking about it, or it wouldn't have occured to me! :earsgirl:

We're doing it on the 28th.

This will the first time doing this one. Saw it listed on allearsnet, but never tried getting it. DH goes all out on our front yard every Christmas. We keep adding more and more each year. We were doing Halloween & Christmas, but the decorations took up 2/3 of our storage rental so he decided to cut back to just Christmas. :(

This year he has seen so many things that he wishes he was doing Halloween too.

We just bought two big blowup snowglobes from Walmart to add to our Christmas stuff.

Can't wait to do the tour though. Maybe it will give DH some more ideas.
;)

Just an FYI, make sure you bring a picture ID to do the tour. WDW won't let you do the tour without one since you go behind the scenes.

Disney's Yuletide Fantasy is open to ages 16 and older (guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult), and theme park admission is not required.
Apparently kids are allowed.
