Yule Tour

Hi - Have any of you been on the Yule tour that Disney has every December? We are considering taking it and I wanted some input from someone who has been on the tour before we make our decision. Thanks in advance for any info. Sherry

As with most tours, the guide can make it or break it.

I took the Yuletide Fantasy tour a few years ago...(December of 2000, I think) and while it was okay, I wasn't thrilled with it. I've also taken the Keys to the Kingdom and Undiscovered Future World tours and preferred both of these. But again, a lot of that had to do with the guide. The guide I had for Yuletide Fantasy was normally a bus driver and just wasn't really on top of the information. To me, that negatively impacted the flow and "magic" of the tour. Plus they used a van to transport us - I think it was a 12 passenger van and there was a total of 12 of us - which was really awkward to get into and out of.

I know others have taken the tour with other guides and really loved it though.

We took this tour last Dec and had a great time. We loved it. I think part of it was out tour guide ROCKED. He was awesome. Very upbeat and knowlegable. We rode in a bus so we had lots of room. The best part is the warehouse where they keep all of the decorations.

I'm also interested in this tour, hoping to take it for the first time this year. Is it offered every day during the season? Do they still give an ornament at the end? Where/ Do you even have a snack? Any more info about it?

You do not get a set time to stop for a snack. But at the WL we had time to run to the gift shop and pick up a snack. And YES you do get an ornament.
