I know you can find Pokemon stuff in Japan. My DS is also a YuGiOh collector. Are there any cards in Japan?

I do remember seeing some Yugioh stuff in the Japan store, very expensive and probably nothing you could not find in a store or online. My son, an avid collector till the fishing bug hit him this summer, was not impressed with what they had to offer....

Yes they have Yugi Oh cards they are expensive but kids used there own money. Just make sure to get the english ones unless your DS can read Japanese. My DS bought a pack just becaues he thought they were cool.

They do sell them in English and Japanese. My son loves them too. We bought them in a little tent-like shop in Japan.

Yes they are in the outside tent- and be careful about what you buy. My son wanted the Japanese ones- and he ended up buying 2 different packs to find what he wanted.

They have pretty much every popular anime there (Naruto, Yu~Gi~Oh, Pokemon, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Inuyasha, ect) but msot of the stuff you can find at comic book shops and etc. for a much cheaper price.

Compared to other places you can find Yu-gi-oh cards, they are not as expensive as they could be. They sell them in the Department store and in the tent across the street.

If your DS is interested in that kind of animation, show him the Disney-Studio Ghibli movies. They are all very good, and are sold in Japan. My favorites are Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and My Neighbor Totoro. I wish that they could be represented in Japan.

Spirited away is one of MY favorite animie movies. I just love it. I wish I could find someting from that movie in Disney.

My kids almost live in the Japan stores. The LOVE anime, and enjoy seeing what's there. But I've personally never bought anything. They use their own money, so it must be worth it to them.

They sell the DVDs in the Japan store. They also have books/comics of th emovie. I wish the Japan Pavilion had a section devoted to those films though. Studio Ghibli is affiliated woth Disney. They are as good as the Pixar movies, just not nearly as well known.

When I was at the Japan store in January, they had a number of small statues based on the Studio Ghibli films. I remember ones from Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Castle in the Sky, though there were others as well. I also remember they were fairly expensive, so I didn't buy any of them.

Most of them are worth every penny.
