yugio cards

My son has or no longer wants to play with them. Not like he ever really did much with them anyway. Well there are over 200 cards yugio how do I go about selling them or even where to sell them. TIA

I'm in a similar situation with Yugi-oh and some Pokemon. I think your best bet is to find a child that likes them and simply give them away.

Are they good/special cards, or just common cards? If they are good cards (worth some money), you could post them with pictures on ebay or craigslist. Also, if they are good, you could try trading them in to a card store.

We had a garage sale a couple weekends ago and my son sold pokemon and yu-gi-oh cards. He sold bundles of 50 common pokemon cards for $0.75 and $1 (rubber banded, in a stapled shut ziplock). He sold his good yu-gi-oh cards for $1.50-2.50 each. He had a nice set of yu-gi-oh cards in a gold case that he sold for $10. He was not ready to give up his good pokemon cards yet..

When I helped at the grade school library last year, Pokemon was still big with the little kids. I think I would try and put them in a garage sale, especially if you are in a neighborhood with a lot of younger kids--they were popular with K-4. No one showed any interest in the YuGiOh stuff. The older ones (4-5) were looking at Bakugan.

That was determined by my son. If your son doesn't know, I guess you could start by separating out the shiny(holographic) cards, and then looking up the cards on ebay based on the name of the card to see what they are selling for (or have sold for by checking completed listings). That's just a suggestion though because not all shiny cards are good. It would probably be more work than its worth though. Here's an easier suggestion...If you have a card store in your area, you could stop in and ask them to look thru them quickly to see if you had any cards that worth anything...
