youtube tv

The only show I miss is 911, but I can live without out or catch up when I can.
That show jumped the shark towards the end of last season. Then they went out into space - literally. It's so not the show it used to be. I haven't missed it because of that. Otherwise, I would have been a bit peeved.

Our Youtube TV subscription runs two homes & our laptops for a reasonable price. We're going to try to wait it out. For the time being, we've been subscribing to a Sling TV day pass on game days. Naturally, after paying for that, I just learned that we could probably get the games for free on regular Youtube. I may try that on Friday, if I'm patient enough to wait until the last minute to see if it shows up there. If we do end up having to switch providers, anything Disney related will be our last option. It's the principle of the matter, for me.

So Disney shouldn't be paid for their content? ;)

Does YT allow sharing between households?

It allows you to create different profiles (up to 6 I believe)

If you add the 4k add on thing you can have unlimited streams in your home and then can have 3 streams/devices for out of the home.
I'm guessing the "out of home" is for use while traveling, not to support a 2nd household.

Not saying it's not done, just something I wouldnt brag about. 😅

That’s the intention (e.g. “traveling”), but it works for multiple households as well. The one thing I found is that when “traveling”, you need to come “home” every couple months. When my older son was out of town for an internship for 6 months, at some point, YT TV told him he’d been gone for too long, so I had to log in with his account at home for a few minutes and that reset it.

Like the other poster, we now use it for multiple homes, so it’s a much better deal than doing cable in both locations. DirecTV streaming or Sling probably could do the same thing, we just haven’t tried them yet.
