YouTube isn't all that

I've never seen such a major website have so many technical problems. It's either extremely sloooooow, or down all together.

I think YouTube is the perfect example of a startup that had no idea they'd become as popular as they are. They don't seem ready to be the fastest growing website on planet earth (which is what analysts say). Maybe they just need more employees and better servers?

Congrats to the 20-somethings who are just about ready to cash in and become instant billionaires. They are on top of the internet world right now and their value is the highest it's gonna get imo. If I were them, I'd do it NOW, before some other video sharing site comes up and does an even better job. Things in this industry happen in the blink of an eye sometimes.

Interesting. I haven't found YouTube to be very problematic for my own use.

Audio syncing problems are frequent.

Tag keywords take almost a week to register in the system.

Often times, it takes forever for the video to start.

The "star" rating system has a bug.

They claim to be child friendly, but obviously they are not monitoring the material fast enough.

Comments section has bugs, for example the "remove comment" option for the owner sometimes doesn't work and you get an error message.

And yes, the site does go down altogether at night sometimes. Somehow I can't imagine Yahoo taking two hour breaks at night for maintenance.

I don't have those problems but I don't visit that often. Maybe you're seeing these problems because you're a frequent "YouTuber".

It was kinda slow this weekend but I normally have no problems.

I did find it slow last week/weekend. Took a long time to upload stuff and sometimes I cancelled the videos because it was sooo slow.
Never had that problem, ever before. Wonder what is up?

I agree with every single comment here. I have just gotten into youtube in the last two weeks. I've only sat down 3-4 times to spend a long amount of time on youtube, but every single time I have, I always experience tech problems. And i know it's on their end because I don't have problems with any other site.
