Youth rate on SW?

I know SW offers a youth rate but you have to call to see what it is. I am wondering what the chances are of this rate being lower than the rates they currently have on their website.

The rate is lower then the fully refundable fare but rarely lower then the deeply discounted fares most of us book.

Slim and none.

The youth rate generally is a % off the full fare, but almost always is higher than the discounted fares. There's no harm in checking, but unless you are booking at the last minute or all of the discounted fares are sold out you likely would do better with the Wanna Get Away rates.

I have always found the Wanna Get Away rates cheaper than the youth rates and purchase them for my DD.
