Another sickness story. Before I start, you need to know that normally, IF my kids got sick, it was usually over very quickly and within an hour they were completely fine- playing, running, whatever, just like a PP said. I was in awe of their bounce-back-ability. I never get sick and when DH gets a sniffle he's a baby.
On day 2 of our 2nd trip ever, DD8 "gets sick" in the late afternoon. She feels really lousy, so we head back to the CR. The stomach bug doesn't stop and the poor thing is so sad looking.

DH stays with her and I take DS6 and DS9 to Epcot for a few hours. By evening the bug has subsided, so we feel the worst is over.
The next day DD is afraid to leave the room, but I convince her that she has to get out of the smelly room so Mousekeeping can air it out. Mouskeeping brought in a huge fan/air purifier machine for us. DD looks wiped out so we take it easy, but she wants nothing to do with eating.
By day 4, she's back to normal, so we head over to MGM (at the time). It starts
pouring, but we've missed so much we decide to troop on soaking wet and freezing in all the air-conditioned shows. After lunch we are in the waiting area for Muppets 3D when DS6 says his "belly hurt." DH eyes get wide, but I shake my head and remind him that this is what DS6 ALWAYS says when he needs to use the bathroom. I ask if he can wait another 15-20 minutes, as the show is about to start. He nods his head, but within minutes repeats "my belly hurts." DH starts to panic, but I remain calm. Of course he begins vomiting just as the doors swing open for the crowd to enter

!!!!! Of course everyone is looking at me like I'm the worst mother in the world.

I wanted to scream "Ever since he was little, saying his belly hurt meant that he was going to have a BM in a little while! It doesn't help that DH is looking at me shaking his head. We all decide to head back to CR to dry off. I stay with DS while DH takes the other 2 to the hotel arcade. Now, I procede to get sick too. I've only ever been sick twice in my entire adult life, and one of the times has to be at Disney! I'm sick all night
Day 5 comes and everyone is better. The day goes fine so we keep our ressies for the HDDR. It will be our first sit-down dinner of the trip!

About 1/2 way through, DS6 says "my belly hurts," so I grab him and we run downstairs and outside to the bathrooms. Nothing happens, so after 10 minutes we go back. Five minutes after we return, DS6 repeats his belly phrase, so out we go again. Five more minutes and nothing, so I make him try to go the bathroom, just in case.

We head back just in time for the Strawberry Shortcake dessert.

Of course, just as the show is winding down, DS6 vomits all over the table.

What happenned to bounce-back-ability?
We call it a night.

We fall asleep, but sometime in the middle of the night DD sits up in bed and proceeds to get sick, AGAIN, all over the covers !!!!! We get everything cleaned up, hand the sheets off to Mousekeeping, quickly remake the bed, and lay down to sleep. Bounce back, already!
I swear that we no sooner lay our heads down on the pillow, when DS9 sits up and upchucks all over
his covers and the wall next to him.

You. have. got. to. be. KIDDING!!!! When they returned, the Mousekeepers looked at us like we had a hex on us

Day 6 comes, and we were all pretty exhausted, but we really need to get out of the room so Mousekeeping can bring back the big air machine. Maybe you saw us, the family that looked like they escaped from the Haunted Mansion? We all felt like zombies, except for DH who hasn't been sick once!

Day 7 comes and we fly home. Now I'm the optimistic type, so throughout the whole vacation sickness, I'm saying to DH, "At least it isn't our sheets and our carpets"
We get home, walk into our house, and what happens? You got it.......DS9 immediately gets sick all over our carpet, and I finally dissolve into tears.

The vacation from he** had followed us home.
Like I said, we laugh about it now

but we didn't laugh a lot during that vacation!
