Ours was in June '03. First ever trip to Disney. I didn't know anything about the Disboards, or planning for that matter. So there we are, in the heat of the afternoon, in an awful long line at Jungle Cruise.
DS12 was a "drama king" and he is one of those kids, who when upset, is really upset...no in between for him! So he starts whining that he's hot, on and on, then he starts this cry-whine thing....DS 14 says "lets pretend we don't know him,"
. People were staring but we stayed in line. Now I am ashamed that I didn't just leave the line and go somewhere to cool off.
So anyway we ride Jungle Cruise, then head over to Casey's and get some hot dogs and fries. Dh started grouching about how much it cost, the kids were all red-faced from the heat, and I said, "ok we are just all going to go home!" which started the crying again. Not my proudest moment. I'm sure the people around us thought we were terrible.
But half hour later, bellies full and everyone cooled off, we proceeded to have a good time.
Now the melt down incident is a funny story, and when it is brought up, DH always has to throw in how much Casey's cost that day
. I don't think he ever got over it.
I guess that was our only bad moment at Disney.

DH stays with her and I take DS6 and DS9 to Epcot for a few hours. By evening the bug has subsided, so we feel the worst is over.
I wanted to scream "Ever since he was little, saying his belly hurt meant that he was going to have a BM in a little while! It doesn't help that DH is looking at me shaking his head. We all decide to head back to CR to dry off. I stay with DS while DH takes the other 2 to the hotel arcade. Now, I procede to get sick too. I've only ever been sick twice in my entire adult life, and one of the times has to be at Disney! I'm sick all night
About 1/2 way through, DS6 says "my belly hurts," so I grab him and we run downstairs and outside to the bathrooms. Nothing happens, so after 10 minutes we go back. Five minutes after we return, DS6 repeats his belly phrase, so out we go again. Five more minutes and nothing, so I make him try to go the bathroom, just in case.
We head back just in time for the Strawberry Shortcake dessert.
Of course, just as the show is winding down, DS6 vomits all over the table.
What happenned to bounce-back-ability?
We fall asleep, but sometime in the middle of the night DD sits up in bed and proceeds to get sick, AGAIN, all over the covers !!!!! We get everything cleaned up, hand the sheets off to Mousekeeping, quickly remake the bed, and lay down to sleep. Bounce back, already!

but we didn't laugh a lot during that vacation!

I spent a day and a half in the room alone because I didn't want to ruin anyone elses trip :/
My dd4 at the time and I were in the pool at PoR. About an hour before, we had lunch and she had a kid's pepperoni pizza. We are happily playing by the edge of the pool, under the lifeguard stand, mind you, when my dd swallows some pool water and starts to throw up. Little whole pepperonis (from her aforementioned lunch) start floating everywhere. I am doing my best to scoop them out of the water and throw them out of the pool. I look up and see the lifeguard just staring at me with his mouth hanging open. I panicked because I thought he would close the pool and ruin swimming for everyone. Instead he turned away and looked at the sky like he never saw a thing!
