Your word for 2011

I know I'm a few days late, but I've finally picked a word-- well, words. I'm going with No Excuses. Any and all problems I've had recently tie back to me making really stupid excuses. I need to take ownership of my actions and fix how I'm handling certain issues. From this point foreward, NO EXCUSES.

Everyone's picking such wonderful words/phrases for this year. :goodvibes

Very well thought out use of those words!!! If you don't mind I'm going to quote this and put it up on my DD's bulletin board.. She is always looking for inspirational quotes and this one really fits for all teens....

You're a smart kid, you know that don't you? :thumbsup2

Ali really popularized the One Little Word idea each year in the scrap booking community. This year she has a related scrap booking class at Big Picture Classes.

I've taken a ton of BPC classes over the years and they're all fabulous. And Ali's classes are always really great.

I think my word will be love. I know - it's a stupid cliche word for the year - everyone picks love. But I think I've been holding out on it far too long.

I need to learn to love who I am, to love what I have been given and to love those I have in my life. And I really need to learn to let go of everything else. Easier said than done considering the year we've had, but I'm gonna try. I realize I have a lot to love and I haven't been doing it very well lately. :sad2:

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I think it's a great word and a great idea! I think we all get to this point sometimes and I'm going to try and follow your example.
