Team Elsa! I am one of those people who doesn't mind the cold. I am not a fan of ice, but a little snow is fine.

I am happier to see the highs not even reach freezing than see the seemingly endless punishment that is summer. I absolutely cannot stand that weather when it starts getting over 80 degrees.

I like the cold - to a certain point. We just had a week of lows in the teens, and that's too cold. I enjoy some crisp, cool air and jacket weather though. Ice skating is more fun when it's pretty cold. I could do without precipitation of any kind.

I'd say normally winter doesn't bother me at all - I've been through decades of winters, especially having grown up in a really snowy part of the country. But for some reason, this winter is beating me down - I'm really ready for this one to end. When I'm looking at a forecast and thinking, "WooHoo - it's going to be 34 tomorrow!", that's bad. :p :rotfl2:

Lucky here! I'm fortunate to be able to hide inside for a big chunk of the winter. :)

Neither, really. Winter is just a fact of life here (from October to April) and to spend too much time hating it would really make life unpleasant. OTOH, who can really like the layer of difficulty it adds; things like driving conditions, heating costs and needing to own a whole separate wardrobe? But basically I just get on with things and don’t dwell.

Agree with @ronandannette. I don’t necessarily like winter, but living in western NY, there’s not much I can do about it. I absolutely prefer June over January, but the blizzards make for good stories. I look better in summer clothes than winter clothes. But I just bought a cute pair of boots I’m looking forward to wearing. Running the fireplace gives me a cozy atmosphere that running the AC can’t. I’m not a big outdoor person anyway, so I can just deal with whatever weather we have.

I’m a Lucky. I’m so thankful I’m retired and can pretty much hibernate over the long, cold winter months. I live in Michigan and it has been super cold, and I often wonder why we live where the air hurts my face😁

Team Elsa!

I may sound the alarm when it gets truly cold down here, but it's only because I know our area isn't built to withstand the cold. Meanwhile, I'm the first one outside LOVING it when the temps drop (once things like my pipes are wrapped and I have a working furnace). I was out in the snow at 7am on Tuesday and during my lunch, I threw on my ski jacket, a sweater and the big clunky snow boots and walked around in the snowy woods and trails. I honestly regretted taking along the jacket since I got kind of hot and had to walk with it open.

Total Elsa here, I mostly feel bad for all the people with the Winter Blues, it doesn't bother me directly but it's a real thing that I see in others so that bugs me.

For myself, I prefer cold over heat any day.

Everything's froze, and I hate it. Cold is painful, and the older I get it seems the worse it gets too.

I guess it's pretty obvious where I stand on this one. :)

My mom used to say she didn't like to go out, even grocery shopping, when it gets too cold. I didn't understand then. I do now. :cold:

When I'm looking at a forecast and thinking, "WooHoo - it's going to be 34 tomorrow!", that's bad. :p :rotfl2:

Yes, that happened the other day. It's been averaging 22-ish degrees here lately, with an 18 degree wind chill. When the weather forecast said it is going up to 34 degrees, I thought, "Oh great, now I can do all my errands."
