With the passion you have for all things Disney it would have been criminal if you didn't get in. And in Concierge too - you'll be perfect. Your trip reports have been so educational (and enjoyable of course) to those of us who can't go so often, and with those resources to be available to guests at Disney, I can't think that anyone would be more suited. Who knows, maybe we will need to call on your services whilst we're there in February.

That park map thing is brilliant! I mean, who else would think of something so awesome as to coat the maps with a plastic that helps you remove gum? Only Disney!

I also found out yesterday that I got to the final interview for the Summer International College Program!!!I'm going to Disney headquarters in London on the 26th Ocotber to have an interview with Disney representatives

There is a SUBWAY under the Magic Kingdom???? LOL. Oh my God. Why would you eat at Subway when there are so many delicious things at the MK to eat? Really now.
YAY, you got to meet up with Joni! I swear it's so true... I was lost before the DIS. I mean, I knew tons about WDW from my trips and books, but I didn't know that much about the resorts or the restaurants and I had NO Disney World obsessed friends!

Whoooooo, congratulations! Concierge is supposedly a really difficult role to get too, which makes it doubly exciting!
I'm doing Spring Advantage too, and I'm so utterly excited. It's making it hard to focus on classes!

So when they called for my phone interview I had to tell them I couldn't do the CP. I was so sad that day lol. I am going to work there one day I swear. Again, Congratulations Jess! You definitely deserved it. I wish I was going back down in the coming year, but I know for a fact my next trip back won't be until 2014. It also would've given me a reason to visit the Grand Floridian (besides just looking around). I'm hoping I get as much luck as you did with getting into the program on your first try.
Wow, those are a lot of facts Ryan told you about the park. I feel I need to copy these down to bother my family with next time we're in there. Maybe give them a new appreciation for the place like me. That would be fantastic! And that's awesome he's trying to get a Professional Internship at Disney. He seems like he knows Disney pretty well so I wish him good luck with that!
Awwww, that's so awesome you and Joni got to meet up and are meeting up again in March! So jealous, SOOOOO wish I could've been going back this year. I really would love to meet a fellow DISer so I can actually talk about Disney until the sun goes down without being told to shut up.

Aw thanks, I feel I will too! And I'm arriving January 7th! The earliest date possible, in other words - it means I have an earlier departure date as well so I can have some time to prepare for my last year of college when I get back
I heard that Concierge can't move in until later in the month... so I'll have to see how that all goes. I want to accept my offer already!!! I am hoping to do that on Monday. Haha yes, little kids stopped me in the park. I will tell all about that in the TR! And yeah I will probably go to an audition while I'm down there. I was going to go to one tomorrow, actually, but it's 6 hours away and I REALLY want to do my concierge role. So I didn't find all of the driving necessary this time around. I'll try again later when I get to WDW!
Thankfully Preston has him for class on Monday so if I don't hear from him by then, I'm just gonna go find him myself.
