Ever since it opened I've been itching to go to Toledo. Both the menu and decor look lovely.

However, when we travel to Disney we don't have a car, and CSR isn't super close to any of the parks. We usually plan dinners to be close to whatever park we'll be at that day, so we can hit the park before or after our meal, depending on park hours.

So I guess my question is: is it worth having to leave a park early to have a dinner there? It doesn't seem like many folks outside of the resort itself make the trip.

If you have a recent experience about the food, ambiance, service, etc I'd love to hear about it!

I ate solo last year there and it is excellent food. Lovely ambience, service was great. Depending which park you’re leaving, you have the Skyliner which speeds things up!

Just tried it for the 1st time in early July. We loved it!

We did use an Uber to get there as we were already off-site for something else. Otherwise, we were staying at Boardwalk.

We were impressed by the environment and the food was great. We were 2 adults and 2 kids. Everyone loved their food. My 1 child eats adult items and she likes fish. I think it would depend on your palate as far as the food goes.

I'd say it's worth the travel.

We are local and Toledo is one of our favorite WDW restaurants. Ambiance, service and food are excellent.

Ah, you may be thinking of Topolino! We've done that restaurant and it's great. Skyliner doesn't run to Coronado unfortunately (but it should!)

Similar story as yours, it was always on our list but we were never close. We finally got to go when we had a quick few nights at CSR and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent as was the service. I wouldn’t hesitate to go out of your way to dine there!

I really enjoyed it in January during marathon weekend! We had a largish group (8?) and we were seated quickly, served quickly, staff was all very friendly and nice. The atmosphere was casual but elevated (nice and quiet) and the food was excellent. I'd love to go back for a slower meal with more courses. I think if you're the type to enjoy a lingering over a meal it's a great place for that, it's not hectic like some of the popular places.

For trips when I go with both DS we always do a nice meal our first night there. Last trip we tried Toledo as I always wanted to and we love CSR (our favorite moderate) but had not been since the tower was complete. We started in Dahlia Lounge and really enjoyed the atmosphere and service there.

Then dinner at Toledo. About 20 minutes past ADR to be seated and we had to check in at host stand to remind them we were still there. Sad to say I was extremely disappointed. The food was good, but nothing else was worth returning.

It is a large room with pretty glass work etc BUT all the hard surfaces meant that noise was loud and carried throughout. It was so loud that it was the opposite of intimate I was expecting. We were seated about middle but right next to the big island with all their wine and the servers were constantly right next to us working. Lots of kids, which I thought maybe it wouldn't be of interest plus it was a later meal, and there was "activity" outside of sitting at the tables. Servers went over everything well before we ordered but after that pretty much were just hustling all over. While I don't feel we were hurried, I did feel we needed to finish up and leave.

The trip before that we did Topolino and it was the complete opposite and I'd gladly go there every trip. Quiet, elegant and service the best we ever had, better than California Grill.

I second this it is loud!!!

I don’t think it was as loud the first time but DS was complaining even with the noise canceling headphones on the second time.

Food is really good and service was great both times we have visited.

I loved it in 2022, great food, great service, great everything.

2023 was a different story, the kitchen was soooooooooooooooooo backed up, we must have been there an hour before our food came.

Maybe it's back to being good again?

We are local and visit Toledo regularly. Probably every 3 months. Haven't noticed and change in food or service quality.

Hmm I guess it just depends on who happens to be working there that day? I'd also imagine weekends would be louder/busier

We dined there last year for the first time. It was one of our big surprises for our trip. Loved the decor. We had a great server who was very helpful matching food and wine. The food and wine were very good. We are going back this fall.

Depending which park you’re leaving, you have the Skyliner which speeds things up!

How will that help at all? Toledo is at Coronado Springs Resort which is not on the Skyliner.
