Given that we are into 2016 and a lot of people are starting fresh with finances, I thought it might be nice to throw out some of our own money saving/generation ideas-
Mine has been using a local 24/hr facebook bidding site to sell stuff we no longer need and buy stuff we do use at great prices. I have sold a ton of stuff we didn't need and I hadn't got around to getting rid of and got some great deals on gifts that I would have spent much more on (ie for Christmas DD11's main gift was a guitar and case that I bought for $40 that is like new- that sort of thing)
People are paying me to take away the stuff I need to get rid of anyways!
So what are some of your randoms?

. I know it doesn't seem like much but it kills me to pay this for just being able to watch a movie ONCE. I therefore wait until the movies I really want to see (but aren't available on our premium channels) come out for sale. i'll look to see if they are available on pay per view but if the price is somewhat comparable i'll just buy the movie outright.
