Our family of 5 (that includes kids now 16, 13 and 6) has been to WDW the last 5 summers.

Our dining experiences have been rather limited, but have included:
1. Chef Mickey's for supper
2. Cinderella's castle for breakfast
3. Crystal Palace for supper
4. Liberty Square? or whatever for lunch

We return to WDW in late Nov. (arriving on Thanksgiving day for 9 nights). What might make your top 3 list (not including any of these) for either character or non-character experiences? Including--do you have a recommendation for Thanksgiving Day night?

Thanks in advance!

Liberty Tree Tavern character meal for Thanksgiving day night if you can get it.

We always book a late (9:15pm) dinner at Chef Mickeys - our family gets so much individual attention from the characters. They really start getting silly and put on little shows, get mischievious with each other, etc that we end up sitting after our meal just watching/sometimes participating in the antics. Our family also really enjoyed Ohanas for dinner - the atmosphere is fun, the food is delicious, and if you time it right, you can watch the Electric Water Pageant and Wishes from the boat dock of the Poly after your meal. Whispering Canyon is a fun place for lunch - last year our server threw a stack of napkins with bear pawprints on them at DD13 and told her to "Keep her bear/bare feet off the table!" DD7 was corralled into a stick pony race around the dining room, and received a Pony Express Certificate that she still talks about this year. The servers can get really playful and tease adults, too. Food was adequate, nothing awful or outstanding. Loved the boat ride from MK to the restaurant - very relaxing. Don't have any knowledge on Thanksgiving Meals, but have you considered Hoop De Doo? From other reviews, kids of all ages enjoy the slapstick humor. We'll be giving it a try with DD14, DD8, and DD1 in late May, after which I'll be posting reviews from there as well as Prime Time Cafe, Coral Reef, Le Celllier, Boma, and Kona. Good luck and have fun.
