Your opinions: best CS in DHS?

Your opinions please: what are the best counter services available in Holllywood Studios? I've heard that the food at the Studios leaves something to be desired...could use some guidance!

We like Backlot Express

I've ate at Backlot Express several times and it was decent. I had read on the boards about how awful the food at ABC Commissary was. We ate there out of desperation one EMH night and was surprised how good the food was. I had a tasty Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich and DS and DH both got burgers that they said were very good. I would recommend either.

I Agree that DHS could use some better CS places. I like Backlot Express the best, ABC Commissary was OK.

Backlot Express is okay. Studio Catering Co. was pretty good. I'd eat at your resorts food court if at all possible. The food will be better.

We usually do Pizza Planet. It's cute inside and the salad/pizza combo is nice.. like one of the PP's said, try the veggie one!

No question Starring Rolls, not a whole lot of variety, but it is the def. the highest quality counter service availble at DHS, you can request Grapefruit Cake from the Brown Derby there.

DHS is a 1/2 day park at best, my recommendation: Eat a hearty breakfast, snack and have lunvh elsewhere when you're done!

Probably not because it is an $8 dessert and it is not on the Starring Rolls menu.

Backlot Express- Good Burgers and a toppings bar with lots of variety

Another vote for Backlot Express. I like the turkey & cheese with roasted red peppers.

Pizza Planet is OK, but the arcade is a huge distraction if you're trying to get kids to eat!

Just be aware that both the backlot express and pizza planet can close before the park closes. So, you may not be able to count on either for dinner.

Their closing times are listed in really small print along with all the parade and entertainment times on the maps you can get on the way in.
