Trying to bypass the "why did we do that" by chosing counter services in all 4 parks for our upcoming trip...please help me with your suggestions and helping me add pixie dust...ALSO, as a side note, traveling with 2 boys so portion may make a difference because they LOVE to eat...

Our favorite CS in the parks are:
MK Columbia Harbour House, followed closely by Pecos Bill
AK Flame Tree Barbeue or Yak & Yeti CS
DHS Nothing great, but Backlot Express is okay
EC This is difficult because we love so many of the International CS locations
We Enjoy:
San Angel Inn in Mexico
Sommerfest in Germany
Yakatori House in Japan
Tangerine Cafe in Morrocco
Harry Ramsden's Fish & Chips in the UK

Enjoy

AK Flame Tree
DHS Starring Rolls, very limited selection though
Epcot Sunshine Seasons or Tangerine Cafe in Morocco
MK Cosmic Rays or Columbia Harbor House

AK - Pizzafari
DHS - Nothing great, but backlot express OK
MK - Columbia Harbour House
EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons
DTD - Earl of Sandwich......THE BEST OF THE LOT!!!

AK flame tree
MK Cosmic Rays
Epcot we never eat counter
HS we never eat counter

BUT: our absolute favorite counter is Wolf gang pucks in downtown disney for all meals.

Our two favorites:
DHS-Starring Rolls(You can get those HUGE cupcakes for dessert :goodvibes)
DTD-Wolfgang Puck Express for sure!

Our favorite park CS places are:
MK: Columbia Harbour House and Cosmic Rays with Main St. Bakery for breakfast

DHS: Not really thrilled with any of the options there

AK: Flame Tree Barbecue

E: Tangerine Cafe in Morocco

I'll add Fairfax Fare at DHS. I like their BBQ platters (much food) and my wife likes the salads.

AK-Flame tree is great we love their BBQ chicken salad

DHS- Backlot is good enough basic burger, but we usually end up at Toy story Pizza planet and I have to say it's not too bad

Epcot- We love the Fish and Chips in England, but Sunshine seasons is super yummy too.

MK- CHH is our favorite too Pecos Bills is a close second.

DTD- we love earl and WGPE

We stumbled on Sunshine Seasons (?) in Epcot the 2nd to last day on our previous trip. That was our favorite CS.

We also do a lot of Cosmic Rays in MK.

Columbia Harbor House for sure in MK.

Earl of Sandwich in DTD.

Tangerine Cafe and Sunshine Seasons in Epcot.

Also enjoyed the pepper market at CSR.

Have fun!

Mk- Cosmic Rays, lots of choices here
Epcot- Tangerine Cafe, we also like to go out the back and eat at Beaches and Cream.
AK- Flame Tree, Restaurantosaurus is fun, but the food isn't great.
HS- Pizza Planet, just little pizzas, the veggie one is good, but for some reason my kids love this place. There are video games here, but that's not the reason. I guess it's a Toy Story thing.

My two girls are now in their 20's but these have been the favorites over the years.

My favorites are a lot of ones listed by PPs:

MK - CHH and Cosmic Rays

Epcot - Morocco Cafe Tangierre (sp?) and Sunshine Seasons

DHS - don't really have one

AK - Pizzafari is okay. I have only tried Y&Y for TS, but I love it their food so would definitely try their CS.

MK: Columbian harbour house
Epcot: Tangerine cafe
DHS: starring rolls - wait till you see the desserts
AK: flame tree bbq.
DTD: earl of sandwich and wolf gang puck express

if they bring back picnic in the park at AK, thats definatley worth it, i was sooo dissapointed to hear it was discontinued

MK--Colombia Harbor House or Cosmic Ray's

DHS-don't really care for anything here. Usually hop on the launch and head to EPCOT.

AK-Flametree BBQ

EPCOT--fish and chips---and, you guys will think we are crazy, but we LOVE to eat at the American Adventure! Yea, I know it is American food, but there is just something about it; I guess because we are at Disney! :confused3

What is "the Launch" that takes you from DHS to Epcot?

Thank you for posting this question!! I was doinga menu search earlier this evening and it all was beginning to blur for me... This helps me to narrow down my searches since so many of you recommend the same places...

:woohoo:

What is "the Launch" that takes you from DHS to Epcot?

Leave HS and head to your left.
There is a boat the stops at Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach Club, then on to Epcot.

The boat is "leisurely". Takes some time, but nicer transportation than the bus. You can also get off and "resort hop". Nice to see resorts especially with holiday decorations.
