Who do you think has the best fish & chips Raglan Rd. or Rose & Crown?

As a Brit, living in the US, I will follow this thread with interest. I have booked the Rose & Crown for Sunday lunch while we are in WDW in July. I am hoping for a traditional roast dinner, but may opt for Fish and Chips if that is not on a menu.

Oh dear, you might reconsider Rose & Crown if you're looking for authentic "back home" cuisine, I think it could only end in disappointment. If you're just curious, and you're ok with whatever comes out, that's another matter. Not that it won't be tasty, but it's unlikely to live up to your expectations for the real thing.

As a side note, congratulations on having your wife and your girlfriend on your next trip. ;)

I really liked both!

We eat the Fish n Chips at Yorkshire County Fish Shop (counter service) every visit. Love them. And they're probably a little cheaper than either of the sit-down restaurants.

Visited both for the first time in August. We have never gone down the british food line as it is too close to home but DD decided they would be her two choices. We really didn't expect to love or hate either just expected to think they were both ok. We were wrong we LOVED Rose and Crown (had the Sunday roast/fish and chips mix) and fully expect to return next trip. The food wasn't particularly authentically English (especially the desserts) but the fish was definitely well cooked. Yorkshire County Fish shop is more fish goujons than fish fillet but DS who is the only one of us to have tried it claims it is excellent and authentic too. On the other hand we all HATED Raglan Road (except for the amazing puddings) the food was dreadful IMHO and we were hugely disappointed.

Made me actually laugh out loud.....thank-you.

I think that we will all (including my sons girlifriend....) he happy enough with what comes out. Not really looking for back home cuisine, but more of a fun lunch

Oh yes. This is a must do every trip as we snack around the world. Maybe one day we'll do a table for fish & chips..sometime.

Thanks for your comments, and pictures. I had considered Yorkshire, but I like to do one table service each day to relax a bit. I may give it a try on one of my other Epcot days as a snack though. My only problem now it that this thread has made me very hungry!
