Your most unexpected expenses

My Teva sandals fell apart while we were walking around DTD. One of the straps actually pulled out right where it goes into the bottom of the sandal. It was unfixable and I really couldn't walk very well. There was no way to keep going for the night without buying some new shoes. I managed to get an emergency pair of flip flops at one of the stores there. They were $25 which is not really that much but they were a style I never would have chosen if I had had a choice and I doubt I'll ever wear them much again.

My surprise expense was the Arcade at the hotel. My boys love the arcade and since we passed the Wilderness Lodge arcade every night on our way back to our villa, I couldn't deny them... we easily dropped $100 on this over the course of our trip.
