I was planning on staying at the BWI (water view) when I visit WDW this December. However, the water view rooms are all sold out
and I don't want to stay in the standard view room (I love the rooms that overlook the Boardwalk-the top reason why it is my choice hotel).
What do you think... do I try to get water view at the Beach Club, so I can still be part of the atmosphere of that area? Do I try another resort not in that area?
I want a hotel with a great holiday feel. I am not sure if settling with the BC just to be in the vicinity of the Boardwalk is a good move. I have stayed at the BWI & BC before but neither around the holiday time.
What are your thoughts and or experiences? My third choice would be the WL, which I hear is great at X-Mas time.

This year doing Yacht Club Club level with DS & DIL & myself & DH with lagoon view. We normally do WL at Christmas because of the decorations.
