Your first time...where was it

Yankee Cannonball at Canobie Lake Park in Salem, Nh a VERY, VERY VERY long time ago....
So long ago actually...I think it was horse drawn!!! :lmao: :lmao:

The Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags over GA. I was 9 and loved it!!!

The Comet at Chrystal beach Amusement Park in Ontario, Canada...now it (the amusement park) is long gone...but the Comet was an awesome wooden coaster.

I don't remember the name of the coaster but it was at Great America north of Chicago back in the 70s. :)

Kiddie Coaster at Astroland Park, Coney Island Brooklyn!!

Does that count?? :rotfl:

My first official coaster was Matterhorn Mountain at Disneyland when I was 10.

My first REAL coaster was Montu at Busch Gardens Tampa this past March. Loved it! :thumbsup2

The Blue Streak at Cedar Point. An old wooden rickety looking roller coaster. Only had a lap bar and you always felt you were falling out of it. So fun!

Haven't been in a while... anyone know if it's still there.

Space Mountain, my mom took me on it when I was 5. I remember it being very dark and scary. Went on it again recently, yeah not so much. The Big Dipper when I was 7 at Geauga Lake, I thought I was going to die. Been hooked ever since.

I'll never forget my first coaster ride. Luckily, the first one I ever went on started out slow to work me up what was going to happen. The ride steadily progressed, eventually getting faster and faster. There were a few awkward bumps because it was an older coaster, but the overall experience left me wanting more. I am now in my exploration stage, as I want to try every type of coaster I can get myself on. I recently ventured into the ones that go upside down, and let me tell ya, the feeling you get is totally different.

Bah.. I shall never forget. I was six years old. My brother didn't want to ride so my dad kept trying to get me to go with him to ride The Racer.. I finally gave in. (We were at Kings Island!)

...so we get to the top of the line, get in our carts... and the roller coaster starts moving and my father had accidentally taken me in the line to RIDE IT BACKWARDS!
I remember spending most of my time with my head between my legs and my dad repeatedly telling me I'd be okay.

I couldn't take not being able to see what was going to happen-- having never experienced a roller coaster before!

Hershey Park--it was either the Comet or the SuperDooperLooper. I was 4.

My first REAL coaster was Medusa at Six Flags Great Adventure. I DID NOT want to go on, but my friend convinced me. About halfway through I was in love!

I did lots of smaller ones before that, including the Matterhorn and Space/Big Thunder Mountain.

The Scream Machine at Six Flags Great Adventure.

Great Adventure in NJ - Rolling Thunder! I was terrified! :scared1: :scared1:

(I still hate roller coasters:scared: )

Busch Gardens in Williamsburg VA. It was the Loch ness monster and I was around 11.
