i wish i couldve been driving when i was 16. i had to wait till i was 17 1/2. its these dumb nyc laws. theres so many ppl that they have to do stuff like that.
My first car was a silver 95 Toyota Camry XLE so it was really nice. Had leather interior and a CD player. Still runs great with alot of miles on it (we drove it to Montana from San Diego, CA twice). But because of school my parents FINALLY decided to get me a car. Its a 2004 Toyota Matrix XR, nice little car. Has a CD player and the speakers are great.
Im 18....I havent got my license yet...And i dont have a car..I'm not fortunate enough like everyone else getting new cars when they turn 16. My mom is a single parent my dad WONT pay child support so all our money goes to bills....And if i got my license my to drive the family car.....Our insurance would go up extremely high and thats money we dont have.
i dont work to pay her bills...dont u think i would work if i could...but i cant work i have a blood disease that effects my joints. to make a long story short
Anyway I just received my license in March and got Toyota Camry XLE. I love it-- but it's in the shop right now, because I somehow managed to break my turn signal-- the whole thing came out and was hanging by the cord- don't ask me how.
I got a 2001 Ford Focus a year and a half ago. It's navy blue, has a cd player and I have a Mickey Mouse basketball topper on the antennae. I've nicknamed my car Newbie. Does anyone else name their car?

Depply, good luck with the cobra. That's one powerful car to have for a first!
Stick isn't that bad, I think you're father might also be concerned with the reprocutions his engine might face with a new driver learning stick on a mustang! My boyfriend taught me on his truck, as he was afraid of what I might to do his precious 'stang!
