Your favourite spot for a quiet, relaxing break at WDW

There are a couple benches next to the wishing well near Cinderella's castle. We were there on a crowded day, but for some reason, this path was empty. Nice and peaceful...and pretty too.

My favorite spots for a break are Tom Sawyer's Island at MK - very shady and quiet. Nice for a stroll and to feed the ducks near Aunt Polly's. Also, any of the countries at World Showcase at Epcot. My favorites are Italy and France near the fountains. Just the spray of water in the breeze are enough to cool you off. Also, there is an incredible pastry shop in France! I also tend to get lost in Mexico. It's cool indoors and very romantic. The restaurant is superb and the boat ride is relaxing.

Have fun!!! :wave2:  :wave2:

For a longer break, take the boat over to Fort Wilderness. They have a petting zoo and a great spot for a buffet lunch. You will feel like you've travelled back in time and that you're no where near Disney.
Wow - I have Never done this! - Its on my list now (I think the 4 year old would LOVE the boat ride! - AND the petting zoo)
Dang I love these boards!!!:sunny: :sunny:

Look in the trees at the petting zoo for the peacock. It was gorgeous with its tail hanging down. If you are in Epcot you can go out the International gate and sit on the verandah at the Y&BC or go to beaches and cream and sit out by the pool area with your treatt.

Our favorite place to rest is on the Spaceship Earth ride. It is a long ride and kind of dark. Very slow moving. We love to relax on this ride. When the ride returns to earth and your car is heading down, it feels really good on your tired back. Sounds crazy I know but check it out sometime.
