Hi everyone!

Okay! I'll be in WDW from Thursday! Where should we eat at night (2 adults).....

I'm always interested to hear everyone's favourite restaurant.

We've got 4 nights in Coronado Springs, 3 Nights in Vero Beach and then 6 nights in SSR!

Anywhere in WDW!

Tell me your favourite!!!!!!

BarryB.
Dublin, Ireland.

Kona Cafe, lunch, beef teriyaki salad.

You will never have another salad like this one. I do not even know how to describe it other than the whole thing literally melts in your mouth. There is something they do in preparation of it that tenderizes the salad portion and infuses a seasoning flavor in it that is incomparable. It is one of my must do's every time we go to WDW.

Our favorite is Ohana at Polynesian. Love all the meats and the appetizers.

Yum, now I'm drooling!

I hope you have a great time!

We always make sure we eat at Boma's at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's a big enough buffet you can usually satisfy everyone's tastes. My 12 year old son is a very picky eater, and Boma's is his favorite restaurant in the World.

There are plenty of great choices. Much depends on the atmosphere and type of food you prefer. For us:

MK
Casey's for lunch
Tony's and Liberty Tree for dinners

Epcot
Any world showcase sit down restaurant!

AK
Flametree for lunch
Rainforest for dinner

MGM
Sci Fi and 50s Prime Time for lunch
Brown Derby
Mama Melrose's

Resorts
AKL - Jiko
BC - Beaches and Cream and Cape May Cafe
BW - Flying Fish
Contemporary - California Grill or Concourse Sterakhouse
Coronado Spings - Pepper Market and Maya Grill
GF - Citricos or Narcoossees (V&A chef's table if you want to spend a whole lot of moeny for a very unique and special dining experience - reservations a must!)
Old Key West - Olivias lunch (great hamburgers) and dinner
Poly - O'Hanas
WL - Artist Point
YC - Yachtsman Steakhouse

DD
Fulton's - chocolate creme brulet is wonderful

We always get a babysitter for the kids and have a date at The Brown Derby in MGM. The food is excellent, and it's just about the only place left on earth where you can get the real, original Cobb Salad (which was invented by the head chef of the Hollywood Brown Derby several generations ago). It contains all the ingredients you'd expect--avocado, bacon and so forth--but it's chopped so fine (chefs would say that it's "riced") that you can eat it with a spoon, and the taste is astonishing.

Our favorite has always been the Garden Grill at Epcot. We always make time to go there to do a lunch. The meats are cooked just right and the vegies tastes so fresh.

Got back from our stay at Boardwalk and we found we loved eating at sit down restaurants at WDW!

Our favorites due to atmosphere and good food;

MGM-Studios: 50's Primetime Cafe (our favorite!)
Sci-Fi Drive-In (another favorite!)

Magic Kingdom: Cinderella's Royal Buffet
Liberty Tavern (?) can't remember the exact name but it represents Colonial America and it was okay.

Epcot: We ate in Italy and I highly recommend the lasagna!
The Rose & Crown in Great Britain (if you're lucky you might get a table along the water to see illuminations but only if you're lucky!!)

These were the only places we ate at so there may be others that are good but we can't vouch for them. Maybe on the next trip! be forewarned; we had 4 people (2 adults and one 13 year old and one 11 year old) and we never got out of the restaurants under 50.oo per meal. You can definately share a plate with another person. We learned that quickly!

Have fun! I wish I was going - I'm hungry!

Tammy

DH and I really enjoy Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge! Probably a favorite for both of us! We also enjoy lunch at Mama Melrose at MGM! And for ice cream you can't beat Ghiradelli's - heck it makes a great meal!! If you are at DD and want a sandwich, try the new Earl of Sandwich! Really great selection, very filling, and reasonable in price. I think they are 4.95 each.

Enjoy!

Victoria & Alberts- get the Chef's Table if you can (never know, they may have a last minute cancellation)

Blessings,
mic_key_mouse

I'm a simple eater.

Fried chicken at Primetime and a homemade bowl of chix soup at Sunshine Food Fair in the Land.

Have fun. SSR sounds so awesome.

I'm no WDW restaurant aficionado , but as a couple we've liked Jiko and Spoodles.

Wow, lucky you.

Hubby and I have lots of favorites...they are our favorites because the food and service have been consistantly wonderful since day one.

Magic Kingdom and MK Resorts:
The Lunching Pad..for a turkey leg and blueberry drink
(we sometimes pick up fresh fries from the cart over by splas mountain, eat them on the way to the turkey leg). Then we go up to mainstreet..candy shop and get caramel apple for dessert..the caramel is homemade and wonderful.

Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch..they have a great menu.

Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge for dinner..excellent.
Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge for breakfast.
Chef Mickeys at Contemporary for Breakfast.

EPCOT and resorts in the area:
In the world showcase we love all the sitdown restaurants except Rose and Crown and Le Cellier. Le Cellier is great for appetizers and dessert, other than that..meals are not that impressive.

Flying Fish at Boardwalk for dinner.
Fresh at the Dolphin for breakfast is excellent.
Blue Zoo at the Dolphin for dinner is excellent...beautiful design, great service...very pricey.

MGM:
Hollywood and Vine Lunch Buffet
Mama Melroses, Sci Fi Diner

Animal Kingdom and resort:
Tusker House for the rotissiere chicken platter, order the African special chicken if they ever bring it back or have it on the day you are there..it is fantastic. We grab a beer (safari amber.microbrew for AK area) or something else from the region and sit outside and watch whatever entertainment is in the area at the time.

Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner.
Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast/dinner.

Downtown Disney:
Planet Hollywood..I know, I know..but, the LA Lasagna and the Cobb Salad are so good, they are addicting..lol.

House of Blues for lunch/dinner, great menu.
Bongo's for lunch (I am sure dinner is great...never been for dinner though).
Portobello Yacht Club..very nice and relaxing.

Hope this helps..we love great food! Enjoy!

I highl recommend The California Grill in the Contemporary. DW and I had a very nice Anniversary dinner there.

Oops, dont miss Flametree BBQ for lunch in AK!!! We never miss that one! We also like the Garden Grill in Epcot at the Land.

Our favs are:

MK: Pecos Bill for a good burger
Cinderellas for breakfast, if no priority seating, you might
do a walkup

Epcot: Le Cellier for a melt in your mouth steak
San Angel Inn for Mexican
Nine Dragons for Chinese

MGM: 50s PTC, good fried chicken, plus try the PB&J milkshake
Mama Melroses, good Italian

AK: Not much experience eating here. Pizzafari is good for
quick meal

Resorts: Ohanas is a definite fav for evening meal. Go hungry

Have fun!!

Yachtsman Steakhouse, without a doubt!

If I could only go to one restaurant while down there, I would choose Boma at AKL. That's definitely my favorite place to eat!

My husband & I just returned from WDW & had many wonderful dining experiences; my favorite had to be Jiko's at AKL (ask for a window seat and/or to have Naseer as your server); food was great, romantic atmosphere, & all of the staff were welcoming, accomodating, professional without being stiff - great experience! Other favorites have been Artist's Point at WL, Brown Derby at MGM (my husband loved the grouper!), Le Cellier in Epcot, & Flying Fish at the Boardwalk. Enjoy!
