Can you please tell me your favorite Counter Service meals in the parks as well as resorts!

I am trying to plan lunches now , and being that you all have been such a great help with my dinner picks , I am asking now about CS !

Thanks all you have been so helpful!

I enjoy the columbia harbor house, casey's corner and cosmic rays in the MK. I love the Flaming Tree and Pizzafarri (sp) in AK. At Disney Studios, I usually go to the Toy Story Pizza Planet.

Cosmic Rays is my absolute fav....yum - 1/4 chicken, mashed potatoes, and carrots!

My favorite counter service at the resorts is Pepper Market. Their fajitas and quesidillas were outstanding. Their prime rib and grilled veggies were great. My DS loved their pizza, and my dd loved the rib steak and the pasta. DH loved everything.

In AK we like Tusker House or Flame Tree BBQ.
In MK Casey's Corner or Peco's Bills.
In MGM --- we don't eater CS there... we have been too disappointed in the past so just stick to TS.
In Epcot we also stick to TS.

Our favorite CS would be Pecos Bills or the one that overlooks Small World (can't remember the name right now) at MK, Pizza Planet at MGM, Flame Tree BBQ at AK, and inside the Land at Epcot. We really liked the Food Court inside POR.

Enjoy your planning!

For lots of choices, we find that Cosmic Rays at MK is a good one for us. There are three separate counters with each counter offering different foods.

At Animal Kingdom: Tusker House
I love that I can have a salmon fillet, rice pilaf, and broccoli at a counter service location. It's not junk food! Other menu items are just as good.

At EPCOT: Tangierine Cafe (Morocco)

At Magic Kingdom: Colombia Harbour House or Cosmic Ray's
Colombia Harbour House is cozy, especially upstairs and I love the Lighthouse sandwich (hummus, broccoli slaw, and tomato on olive bread...yum...I wish I had one right now)
Cosmic Ray's has a nice variety of items on the menu; there's something for everyone.
Regardless of where you have your meal, make sure you save room for a pineapple float with Dole Whip!

At MGM: well, um, good luck
I usually just grab a sandwich at the Starring Rolls Bakery.

At Mk I like El pirata y el Perico (something other than burger or hot dogs)
Casey's Corner, Pecos Bill and I loved Cosmic Rays Cheesesteak although I heard that they don't have it anymore
Epcot The Sunshine Seasons Food Fair lots of choices
MGM none
Ak Tusker House

At MK we liked Columbia Harbour House - the sandwiches are huge and very tasty! They also had "homemade" apple pie for dessert when we were there and we couldn't get through them they were so big.
At Epcot we like Boulangerie Patisserie at France. The croissant sandwiches are yummy plus you can get a very good cup of coffee. Kids loved the giant sausage rolls. A nice little spot to sit and eat - very parisian! ooh la la
At AK we went to Flame Tree. Yummy food (although corn is the exception) and lovely places to sit outside - a great bonus.
At MGM try ABC Commissary. Good food, filling portions and an indoor space on a hot or cold day.

*the Pinnochio Village Haus in MK was so packed the day we went that we turned around and walked back out. It's right acrosse from Small World and seems to be where everyone with a stroller ends up at lunch time. We immediately walked over to Columbia and were sitting at a quiet table in 10 min.*

Their prime rib and grilled veggies were great. My DS loved their pizza, and my dd loved the rib steak and the pasta. DH loved

:cool1:

We really enjoyed the Tusker house at Animal Kingdom. Had very long lines last week but the food was very good and affordable. 2 kids mac n cheese, 1 chicken sand with fries and 1/2 chicken meal with drinks and it was only 27.00
Great price for disney anyway and the food was really good!

Pepper Market is in Coronado Springs, I think?

Yes Pepper Market is the counter service restaurant in Coronado Springs. And yes...prime rib is on the menu at times, and rib steak and chinese and pasta and pizza and mexican and roasted chicken. Very good food. Good choice for the CS on the meal plan.

Beaches and Cream is listed as a TS restaurant in PassPorter. I always thought it was CS. Anyway, it gets rave reviews here and was rated 8 out of 10 in PassPorter. I've put it on my must-do lunch list. It's located at the Beach Club Resort. They're open from 11:00am-11:00pm. No ADR's.

Beaches & Cream Menu

Animal Kingdom - Tusker House. Had a fried chicken sandwich and a GREAT cheesecake. DH had rotisserie chicken and DD had a rotisserie chicken leg. All very good. Many have said Flame Tree is very good.

Magic Kingdom - Columbia Harbor House. They have a great variety there. DH had clam chowder which he said was wonderful. They had homemade apple pie, which was awesome. Good timing too, cause we had just come out of philharmagic where they gave us whifs of sweet stuff during the show! We had a ham and cheese sandwich. Have heard many posters recommend Cosmic Rays....we will try that next time.

MGM - ditto other posters. The food seems lame here. We ate at Sci-Fi for dinner and it was very, very average. Went there for the ambience.

Epcot - wow, where to begin!!! In the world pavilion we ate at Tangierine (Morocco) and Yakitori House (Japan) and both were wonderful. Ate at Lotus Blossom (China) and it was mediocre. Had a bubble tea there that was very yummy (it's kind of a chocolaty drink that has tapioca "bubbles" in it. Different, but very good! We had a cream horn from the Kringla Bakery and it was great too. There were so many things we wanted to try!!! We didn't have a terrible meal at Epcot. I hear that Sunshine Seasons in Future World is really good. We saw it from a distance and it had LOTS of variety.

AK - Flame Tree This is our very favorite CS restaurant in all of WDW! The food is yummy, and the seating by the water is lovely!

EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons was really good! Lots of variety. I had the best little fruit souffle thing-y, and the kids really enjoyed their dirt cup sundaes. Additionally, my steak flatbread & DH's chicken flatbread dishes were good too. This year, we plan to try some of the WS counters.

MK - Columbia Harbour House We thought the food was good (& fresh!), although the kids didn't really like their chilled chicken cubes, and the seating upstairs is so nice! We liked CHH so much that we ended up eating there twice last year. (This year, we plan to try Pinocchio Village Haus too - the menu looks really good!)

MGM - We end up at Toy Story Pizza Planet for the kids. It's not terrible. Not wonderful. Just not terrible.
