I want to know what all of your favorite thrills are at Walt Disney World. Food, the monorail, the bus ride over, the hotel room, rides, etc. Spare no expense.

Checking in at the resort. I know, I know...some people will think I'm some sicko for this one. Haha... But seriously, I don't mind standing in line waiting to be checked in b/c that's when all my anticipation and excitement for the Disney trip are at their peaks.princess:

I totally agree with you. Doesn't matter which Disney Resort I get the same "WOOHOO! I'm at Walt Disney World". :sunny:

I'm so into checking in as well:teeth: And I'm a big "lobby person" - love a good lobby:teeth: (GF, WL, AKL, BWI...)
Also LOVE entering the parks...Main Street at MK is the best but I adore AK's Tree of Life coming into view and walking down Hollywood Blvd.:earsgirl:
DD's favorite thing is riding Peter Pan's Flight and catching the whiff o' lilies at the GF:crazy:
Can you tell by my choices that I don't care for "thrill rides"??princess: :wave2:

Getting off of the insane Interstate onto Disney roads.

And riding the TTA until I fall asleep.

Watching the "rope drop" show at MK (I get goose bumps just thinking about it!) and, of course, the ToT.

disneydude91 - first of all Welcome to the DIS !!!! My favorite thrill about WDW is simply the feeling I get from "being" there. As corny as it sounds it's like being "home" to me.:wave2:

First, I love walking around EPCOT at night...we hang out by Mexico, or so, wait for everyone to leave and then walk ALL the way around to the International gateway to BCV's.....It is probably a 20 minute slow stroll and NOBODY is there, you have the place to yourself while the post-Illumination music is playing......awesome......

Second, just walking past the YC Gazebo and realizing we "actually" were married there 10 yrs ago......every time we walk by we think "how cool" that we didn't get married at some church....never have regretted it....

Our biggest thrill in pulling up to the resort before check-in. The anticipation is almost unbearable.

My thrill:

Driving through the Walt Disney World Gates! I always film this part. And driving up to the resort. And watching Illuminations. And eating at the food court!

I also love checking in while my children watch disney cartoons in the kids area. My second favorite is drinking a strawberry daquiri while waiting for my ohanas reservation to be called.

Getting on the monorail for the first time :p .

My biggest thrill is when you approach the "Walt Disney World" overhead sign. When our DS (now 14) was little he would just look straight ahead until he saw that sign. What a smile came across his face when he first spotted the sign! Even today there is still a smile and sparkle in his eyes (mine too) as we approach the main gate.

Seeing my 2 yr old sons reactions to everything for the first time. Now I cant wait until we go back in Jan to see what all he remembers! At home, he gets all excited while watching the Where Magic Lives and planning dvds.

Oh my gosh......there are so many but I think one of my favorite parts is waiting on the parades to start and then seeing Mickey leading the parade. This year was the first visit for DH and 3 DDs so I was really excited for them. But seeing the look on my girls' faces even my almost 13 yr old, when they watch the parade is awesome. I literally had tears in my eyes watching their faces light up.
Of course riding T of T and RNR is a big thrill for me personally!
Fantasmic.....that's another great one!
Seeing their faces when we walk into the lobby of our hotel and even into the room itself.
So many............ :D

#1 fave~ Seeing the view from the monorail (first time each trip)

#2 Sight of Cinderellas castle from the end of Main Street

#3 TIe between scent of cookies on Main Street first thing in the AM, and character meals. Theres nothing quite like either

#5 Splash Mountain

1. Seeing the Disney World sign
2. Walking up to the lobby of the Polynesian - entering our room for the first time.
3. Hearing the 12 Days of Christmas Hawaiin style while walking the grounds on the Polynesian or eating at Captain Cooks.
4. Stepping onto the monorail and hearing once again, "Por favor, mantenga se alejado de las puertas."
5. Stepping onto Main Street - the sights, the sounds, the castle!
6. The first parade on arrival day.
7. That first hot dog at Casey's.
8. That first ice cream cone on Main Street

I'm afraid I will be back to add on.. lol.
