Your favorite sweet and fruity wine....

This is my favorite cheap sweet wine.
Much better than dollar pitchers of beer at bourbine street:rotfl2:

I love Icewine! Whenever I make chocolate cake I need icewine to go with it, darn LeCellier!
I forgot about Icewine. I tried some of that in Frankenmouth. Yummy! I'm going to have to try some of these suggestions. I also liked Niagra from Robinettes Orchard and there was another I liked from there.

this wont come out but it is a womans wine supposedly.....F-u-k-i plum wine...and it is delicious.....you can get it in epcot too Japan

Is this the wine with the plum in the bottle?
I've seen one at the wine store and wanted to try it.
I'm not a sweet wine drinker in that I don't drink ice wine
and sauternes, things like that but I love RosaRegale and
Lambrusco. What would you compared this plum wine to?

I like Moscatos and Rieslings.

Sangria is a summer favorite for me too.

If you want something lighter, try the Arbor Mist line...My DH makes fun of them though...calls them my "wine coolers in a giant bottle."

:rotfl2:That's how I think of Arbor Mist too ! Like it should be poured over ice and have a little umbrella on top ! Funny that we had the same analogy, but as long as you like it our opinion dosen't matter, right?

I havent seen any plums in the bottle but some people dont care for it because it is similiar to drinking a koolaid....but then it hits like a ton of bricks if you over indulge

If you live north of Boston, I can tell you where to get it around here, too ;) AND they have another wine from the same vineyard (which I haven't tried yet).

Rosa Regale

We can buy it at Publix, and all the local wine shops, too. I mentioned the Italy shop in case anyone was interested and because they have huge bottles and small ones - just enough for 2 glasses. I've never seen so many different bottle sizes of it. All yummy!

Are you talking wine cooler sweet or regular wine sweet? :lmao:

I like a merlot or cabernet sauvignon. My favorite inexpensive one right now is Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi cabernet.

Is it opposite day?

Merlots and Cabs are definitely not sweet wines.

Moscato d'Asti. We get a good one from The Fresh Market for around $15 when they have it. Light and sweet. I'm not a big wine (or alcohol period) fan but can tollerate the sweeter wines.

For a white wine, almost any German Wine tends to be sweet, unless specifically stated that it is not on the bottle...he he...gotta learn a little German tho'. We are very particular to Gwertraminer (did I spell that right??) and Mosel river wines.

Personally I like the Arbor Mist Wines. They make me feel like a grown up, because I am drinking wine, but its not that "bitter" wine other people like. I guess at 43 my pallet isn't refined. :confused3

Close.
We always have a couple of bottles of Gewurztraminer around. We like Fetzer, from California, and several of the Oregon and Washington varieties.

Pinot Grigio's can be sweet and fruity a really good one is by Santa Margaritta a little on the pricey side ($20 a bottle) but it's a really good wine.

The one that we have found to be the best really sweet fruity wine is from here www.duplinwinery.com our favorite is Brices Creek for the white wine and for the red we love the Black River Red. I tried and tried to like wine but we would go places and i would ask for a glass of the sweetest wine they had and it would never be good. Then i was in Wal Mart one day and was looking to see if i could find anything and we tried the Duplin wines and they are all very good. i swear it is like eating the sweetest grape ever when drinking this wine. The wine is made from Muscadine grapes.

I second Rosa Regale. It is very similar to the Magicale served at Disney. We pay 25 a bottle up here.

I can't believe nobody's recommended Rosa Regale (and dark chocolate :faint: )! :teeth:

Can I give a big WOO HOO for Rosa lol?? Yummy stuff! It is about 19.00 a bottle here. Must have with chocolate, to die for.
