We only started watching Simpsons about a year ago (reruns/dvds). Don't really havev a favorite but Principal Skinner is a hoot - I love the 'Nam flashback schtick.

I love Moe!!
"I need Amanda Huginkiss... is there Amanda Huginkiss in the bar?"

No love for Mr. Burns and his "friendly" sidekick? One of the funniest duos ever!

LOL.... you are why I put SSB in the poll. I wanted to put Moe or Barney. Or Thelma / Selma.

TOO Funny... have to say that SSB was happy, but a tad surprised to see included, as there are a SLEW of characters... great ones!

Thanks!

I've watched the simpsons for years so I'm sure I'm going to feel really stupid in a minute but.......who the heck is Jessica?!?!

my personal favorite has got to be Comic Book Guy

Jessica Lovejoy -- Reverend & Mrs. Lovejoy's daughter... (I watch the Simpsons way too much!)

I'm surprised she made it into the poll since she is really a bit player compared to Comic Book Guy.

What about Professor Frink?

No... was a mistake..... Was kidding.... Jessica SIMPSON..... Was a dumb joke. :thumbsup2

Ralphy and the old lady who throws cats at people (what the hake is her name)?????Does she have a name?

Dh and I probably quote Simpsons lines at each other more than actual conversation. I'd have to say After Groundskeeper Willy, Moe Syzlack runs a close second...for both of us. The Simpsons is THE best show on television PERIOD. After all these years it still hasn't jumped the shark...though we always cringe once in a great while. Matt Groening, you are a genius.

I also adore Kang and Kodos.

My wife hates when I say "Smell Ya Later".... ;)

the same in our house. :) I always use a Homer quote- "Marge it takes two to lie, one to lie and one to listen."

or, "That's crazy talk... you're crazy, Marge."

best show ever, followed by the Soprano's. I couldn't pick a favorite character if my life depended on it. I've been hooked since the shorts on the Tracy Ullman show. :)

I've got to pick Homer. I went to school with the fellow who does Homer's voice!

That'd be Patty / Selma

Or as seen in the quicky mart security video Homer would say, "the gruesome two-some"

Mr. Simpson, You can emerge now from my chips. The opportunity to prove yourself a hero is long gone.

Although Troy McClure is great!!

Hi, I'm Troy McClure, you may remember me from:

such celebrity funerals as "Andre The Giant, We Hardly Knew Ye" and "Shemp Howard, Today We Mourn A Stooge".

such Do-It-Yourself home videos such as "The half-assed approach to foundation repair"

such educational films as "Lead Paint: Delicious But Deadly," and "Here Comes the Metric System!"

Hey, your actor Troy McClure! I remember you from the educational film "Locker Room Towel Fight : The Blinding of Larry Driscoll" :rotfl2:

"Marge, I'm not gonna lie to you"...... ( dead air for several seconds )

:)

Homer Simpson. Gotta love him, even with all of his faults.

Why don't we take this discussion to Moe's :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

[sloppily scrawled]
Maybe it's the beer talking Marge but you got a butt that won't quit.
