Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a great breakfast for my mom and I to do on our last day before we head home. We won't have admission to a theme park that day and really would prefer to not do a character meal, have done them and I only enjoy them when my niece and nephew are with us. We are staying at Pop and since they do not have table service, we are more than willing to travel to any of the other Disney resorts. Buffets or Table Service are okay with us too. Our favorite used to be Boatrights, but they don't do breakfast anymore. Kona Cafe was very yummy, but we are open to a new restaurant this time.

Thanks!!! :cutie:

I know it gets love or hate reviews but to answer your question our pick would be WCC.
We love the all you can eat family style breakfast skillet.
Always have fun with the servers.
The kids love the games/songs played.
(straws/ketsup)
It's just fun rustic style breakfast.

Fresh at the Dolphin serves a lovely breakfast! The food and service is really good, all in an adult atmosphere. :thumbsup2

Hmmm, it sounds like the majority of you like Kona or Boma for breakfast. We both loved Kona on our last visit there, but I am really up for trying Boma as well. Maybe it will come down to who has the better ADR slot available. Thanks everyone for your suggestions! The good news is that we are planning a week-long vacation in June with a couple of "rest" days so I can always get another yummy breakfast place in during that trip.

Love the Yacht clubs Captain Grille. They have a crab cake eggs benedict dish that is really yummy.

Boma for sure if you want buffet and Kona if you don't.
They are must do's for us.

I loved the food at both Boma and Grand Floridian Cafe, however the service at Boma has always been adequate (which at Disney, is not a compliment, but like I said it was adequate) and the service at GFC the one time I ate there was terrible. I definitely love Boma's food enough to eat there again, but I don't know if I'd repeat the GFC experience.

I know you said "no characters" but Cape May buffet does a great breakfast, too.

I totally agree! We've eaten there many times and it is by far our most favorite character meal - good food and good character interaction. But my mom and I would rather have a more relaxing meal where we don't have to socialize with our Disney friends

1st choice Boma - good food and you get to check out AKL (if you haven't already)
2nd choice GFC - just cause you have already tried Kona (cause that would be my number 3) and it's pretty darn good

I don't think you can wrong with the suggestions you have.

Kouzzina for sure! We stayed in the Boardwalk Villas this past August and so whenever we went outside we would see Kouzzina (by Cat Cora) and the menu looked different and quite appetizing. There aren't very many if any other Greek restaurants. The dinner was a bit pricey and we already had Le Cellier and a few other higher priced meals so we decided to try for breakfast. The restaurant is beautiful with a open kitchen and very cool decor. Another nice thing was we went towards the end of breakfast around 10:30 and there is no lunch so it was next to empty. My brother has a deadly nut allergy (pine nut/pignolo) and so when we go into a restaurant the first thing we do is tell the waiter and they get the chef. The chef is Chef Marylin and she is amazing! She not only made my brother his separate and without nuts but she came back around 3 or 4 times during the meal to talk to us and check how the food was. We knew we had to go back and so we contemplated going for dinner. The breakfast was too good though and when we came back we had another AMAZING experience. Chef Marylin remembered us and again helped and talked to us. Hope this helps! :thumbsup2
