You know the CD you play when you are in a really good mood and want to sing at the top of your lungs? Or the CD you play because you know it will pick you up out of your bad mood.

So, what's yours?

Man is this going to sound cheesy, I put on the soundtrack from Father of The Bride, it makes everything seem so nice. Cher is always a good pick-me-up.

Janet Jackson's Design of a Decade, my Bon Jovi greatest hits cd, or a cd my SIL made for me with a lot of my favorite songs.:) I need to buy me a GnR cd with Sweet Child O' Mine on it, I'd also love to have a Def Lepperd greatest hits cd, and I'd also love to have Garfunkel's I only have eyes for you on my cd my SIL made for me.

This may *shock* yer.........:p.......

Jules - I've never heard the Father of the Bride soundtrack - I'm having a hard time remembering what songs are on there, I'll have to check it out.

I agree browneyes, Janet is a very good pick me up, makes you want to dance!!

I still haven't gotten around to getting the Norah Jones CD, I do like everything I hear on the radio though.

Yes Goofy, I'm shocked at your choice of CDs. I pictured you as more of a hard core rap guy! ;)

I just got the "How to lose a guy in 10 days" soundtrack, I really like it!

The Lilo and Stitch soundtrack always puts me in a good mood!

Anything Janet Jackson. I thought I was the only one who thinks her songs are great pick me ups!

I have a zillion of these, but one I was listening to on the way into work yesterday that put me in a good mood was Queen's "A Night At the Opera".

Kenny Chesney's "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" or Keith Urban's "Golden Road" are my current favorites. :teeth:

Three soundtracks are loaded into my stereo: Godspell, the Sound of Music and Marry Poppins. And then, yes, I sing at the top of my lungs. Coincidentally, my neighbors just moved...

Broadway's Hairspray never fails! Those songs are just joyous. Muppet music is also great for when spirits need a lift.

Jackson Browne's Late for the Sky

"Walkin' slow down the avenue
Through my old neighborhood
Don't know why I'm happy
I got no reason to feel this good
Maybe it's because I'm all alone
And I got no place to go
Everywhere I look I'll see another person I'll never know ...

...But -- I got a thing or two to say before I walk on by
I'm feelin' good today
And if I die a little further along
I'm trustin' everyone to carry on

I'm puttin' down my left foot
I'm puttin' down my right foot
Whoohoo Whoohoo Whoohoo!"

This may seem a bit corny, but I most enjoy listening to homemade CD of church music sung by our church choir. It just makes me feel good to hear our church's choirs perform. Perhaps this is an offshoot from the fact that my dad is a retired minister. I just love to sing along. I can't seem to get that music out of my head.

In college, I used to listen to "Moving Waves" by Focus while studying for exams.

When I used to have my own office at work, I often played a bunch of different R.E.M. CD's while cranking out software. It's just not the same when you wear headphones and can't sing along.

I guess that's why I enjoy my multi-hour drive to/from WDW. I can crank the tunes on the car stereo and sing at the top of my lungs.

Paul Simon - Rhythm of the Saints
- my all time favorite!

I like to hit the open road, sun shining and pop in the Top Gun soundtrack and hit the excellerator.

The sing along Cd is the My Best Friends Wedding Soundtrack-- I say a little prayer for you the cast sing along. Fun song and fun part of the movie.

We wake my daughter up with the Winnie the Pooh song but we don't know all the words.

The Hairspray Original Broadway Cast Recording - actually I play that all the time, no matter what mood I'm in! :p But it's the best, I looove that show. A couple weeks ago I actually went twice in one week.. I've gone a bit Hairspray crazy. :teeth:

i just remembered one of my favorites--Sweet Home Alabama. Reminds me of football season in Alabama

ROLL TIDE ROLL MIKE SHULA IS LEARNING THAT ALABAMA IS SWEET HOME NOW!!!
