If you like seafood, Cape May is excellent. Usually quiet, great service, good selection, and food prepared very well for buffet type. Also, price is moderate compared to quite a few other Disney eateries.
Well, looks like I'll be the lone Cape May dissenter. We finally tried Cape May a week ago. We had very mediocre service. We could never get our waitress. It took forever to get our berverages. When we asked for tea/coffee at the end of our meals, it took forever to get any creamer. My dad finally just drank his black!
As far as the quality of food, we found it to be lacking. My dh was so disappoined. He was really looking forward to some good seafood. But, that wasn't the case the night we were there. My beef was good tho. And the dessert table did make everyone happy. But I don't think we'll be taking the chance again.
We have eaten breakfast there several times and the last time on 12/1. We were seated at about 7:40. I assumed that my food would be hot but my pancakes were actually cold. The variety didn't seem to be as good this time either. I think that maybe we just hit it at a bad time this trip.
We're not crazy about Cape May, but it is okay. We go there for the convenient location, not for the food. The chef pissed me off completely, ignoring our special needs situation, but that is another story.
My comment wasn't really a recommendation of Cape May either. If you're near by, starving, not too fussy, and looking to save bucks it's ok. Found a few things that tasted ok, then i found the oreo bon bon thingys and did a very good Homer Simpson impression. I think I rated it "eh"
