It was a retirement planning sort of thing. We moved from Sarasota/Bradenton because that was too far at 1.5 hours! (LOL) Our first visit to FtW was for our honeymoon in Oct '74. We've been addicted ever since.

Just to let you know, when I first joined the board I made a post about seeing otters at FtW. That was Aug. 07. I never saw otters at FtW before and got very excited about it. That thread went waaaaaay south in a short time!!! Now, we have threads about otters and peacocks fighting over the beer. Watch out when you're at FtW, because I have a platoon of highly trained otters that go on beer raids.

I use ScrapperBelle because I love scrapbooking and Belle is my favorite princess.

I'm married and live in Louisiana. DH and I have one son (almost 16) and I have 1 stepdaughter. My stepson passed away in Dec. 07. He was 18 and had lived with us for the last few years, so he was just like my own.

I am looking forward to getting know you all. Everyone here seems really friendly and helpful.

We are planning a few short trips over the summer to get acquainted with our camper. Maybe we'll get to FW later this year. Hopefully, we'll see some of you there!

I have been earning a healthy income in a unhealthy economy and helping others do the same in Texas for the past 5 years hence my username: Work At Home Mom(WAHM) Texas. It has allowed me to raise my 2 children ages 5 and 3. I love the flexibility and the Disney funds. We never would have been able to do Disney like we did for 10 days in Nov. on my former income as a public school teacher.
