Both of them are NICU survivors My oldest was 7 weeks early and is now a very "Normal" boy. and my DS2 was born 12 weeks early and as a result now had CP. BUT he has the funniest personality and keeps us laughing. So I am definately a special kids mom But I must add WAR EAGLE to the previous posts.

Yeah, when you have so many children you don't know what to do, that's about the best you can hope for. I just tell my kids....it's whats for dinner. You want to eat, that's what you get. They usually end up liking it despite their very vocal protests before it hits their mouths.

Yea I set down the rules very early with mine and now they'll tell others "Mom is not a short order cook." They know that either they eat what I made for dinner or they get nothing. They've learned that trying new things isn't all that bad.
